I searched for locksmiths in the South Bay and called Ray's Key & Lock in Torrance. I talked with Henry (Ray's son--family business!) and he asked me to send him a picture of my lockset. He immediately texted me the estimate to get it fixed and we arranged to have him come the next day. He fixed the issue in about 15 minutes, and then he was able to re-key our back door (Anderson french door) as well--we had lost the keys many years ago.
