“I called Matt as I was pricing a simple straight forward job i.e. the replacement of a sink fixture and water supply valves to the new fixture. Other area plumbers prices I deemed excessive for a job that many handy folks such as myself could do on their own if they choose to.Oh BTW I contacted 6 plumbers and only 3 got back to me and Matt was one. Actually, he called back twice which was really cool as I was crazy busy at the moment and that was appreciated. That act alone showed me he wanted to work w me. In the past, I have found other tradesmen (emphasis on men) put off by the fact I am a knowledgeable handy person (woman) that likes to do some repairs myself.When I spoke to Matt he was willing to work with me and allow me to do some of the work thus cutting the cost down. I liked that he listened to my concerns and was flexible in the business arrangement. He also was cool when I bought the wrong valves for him to install-something I was extremely embarrassed about.Matt showed up on time, did the complete job, and left in record time. I think it is important when hiring someone to work in your home that you are able to have a healthy discourse about what your needs are. I felt I was able to have that discourse w Matt.“
