“After 30 years of dealing with constant repairs to our Flat Roof, we finally decided to go for a new one. Got many estimates and did a lot of research into the best method. The "oldtimers" wanted to do the "rip off the old one and tar and gravel a new one". That is SOOOO 1980's. The younger ones had several different methods, most of them way too expensive. The more I read the research, the more i liked the Silicone Method. It's fairly new but highly preferred by experts especially for the "Dreaded Flat Roof". I found Pitre Construction and Roofing, a family owned business that's been an East Bay (and beyond) favorite for decades. I dealt with Ricky Petri, the son of the founder. I really lucked out. He is a big proponent of The Silicone Method. It's waterproof, has no seams to fray and leak, keeps the house 10 degrees cooler (delightful during this current 90/100's heat wave). They offer a 5,10, or 15 year manufacture's warrantee, depending on the thickness of the silicone used. The roof is power washed first, then treated with a primer and taped flashing, then completely covered in General Electric manufactured Silicone. There are no seams. Ricky is a blast to deal with. He's a high energy, delightful young man who's been doing roofing with his dad since he was 5. The workers are professional, experienced and very tidy. We were totally thrilled with the result. If any of you have been dealing with the torment of a flat, or long-term leaky roof, i feel your pain. It's so comforting to not have to think about the upcoming rainy season for many years to come. Ricky's estimate was VERY fair, way cheaper then the 10 or more estimates some of which went as high as 16K. If you're in the market or just tired with dealing with the stress of wondering which part of the ceiling is going to leak or fall this winter, give Ricky a call. “Super impressed with Mark's professionalism, knowledge, and integrity. Our roof sprung a leak this winter after one of the many rainstorms. I thought we would need a new roof. Mark was responsive right away. He stopped by and did a thorough inspection on our flat roof that took over an hour. He told me a new roof was not necessary and we should get many more years out of it. He pointed to 2-3 areas that could use some attention. “Sunshine was amazing! They arrived at 8 AM with a true workforce and a sense of humor. The forecast was rain in the afternoon and they got the roof beautifully finished before then! They also worked around two issues to make sure we didn’t get held up. One out of three skylights came with the wrong flashing kit, but they were able to make one for us. They also offered to come back a second time to install the downspouts after my stucco is applied… Working up to the install day, Sunshine patiently updated our agreement as I changed my mind a couple times. I ended up getting shingles, but they gave me a really excellent price for standing seam metal.I recommend sunshine roofing highly! The roof looks beautiful. Even the flat portions match the shingle color and I can’t see any seams. Truly, a pleasure to work.“

We found and hired Promodeling to redo all our plumbing, they relocated it from the walls to underground and then redid all our flooring throughout. They were very professional and took care of everything in a timely manner. Their office staff was always responsive & helpful as well. “I needed to replace a TPO roof in backyard and shingle roof in front of house. Jose M. was my project manager. He showed up on time to inspect roof and he provided a detailed estimate within a few days. Once I signed contract and paid deposit, my project was scheduled within a few days. El Dorado Roofing's greatest strength is that they have multiple professional, highly experienced, and well equipped crews. One crew did a TPO roof, another team made quick work of a shingle roof replacement in front, a 3rd crew installed new gutters and downspouts and final touches. On day of TPO roof replacement, rain was forecast for the evening, so they sent a 2nd crew and finished 2 day job in 1 day so roof can be ready for a sprinkle of rain that night. Very reliable, did what they said they would. Good value compared to other quotes I received. Very responsive to my questions and requests. Finished project ahead of time and on budget.
