Service Requested: There were two things I have come to Lupe’s for which was rekeying several locks so i was only operating off two keys (down from 5) and then I went to the shop to get copies made in mass for employees. For the rekeying service, Lupe came with his mobile van and was able to change all my locks without any issue. Lupe is a master at his craft and is friendly, accommodating, and efficient in preforming it. For the copies I went to the store and Tony made them extremely fast and precise. It was much faster and better than the auto-kiosks you will see in home improvement stores.

Quality: My rekeyed locks work great and the copies were flawless. Great quality.

“Henry showed up on time as promised, analysed my situation quickly, informed me of the issue and problem and told me the price to repair. He also looked at a third safe and let me know that to recombo that one would be more expensive and much more time. The two safes he repaired requires a very specific turn sequence and 4-number combination. He demonstrated how to lock and unlock the drawers (they are file case safes), several times and wrote the instructions for me.“

“Baldwin mortise lock doorknobs were loose (fell off), making the door unusable. I scheduled a home visit yesterday for this afternoon. Eddie, the locksmith, who had told me parts might need to be ordered. arrived on time, fixed the problem (no parts needed), and adjusted (had to remove the doorknobs temporarily to do the job) of an interior door He was competant, courteous, and charged what he had quoted on the phone. $85 for the service visit and $35 per door...and gave me a 10% senior discount. I searched for locksmiths in the South Bay and called Ray's Key & Lock in Torrance. I talked with Henry (Ray's son--family business!) and he asked me to send him a picture of my lockset.
