I cannot believe the difference between a trainer that does not care about their clients goals , versus someone that makes their clients goals a main priority . Eric not only creates a specialized training program, designed for your specific needs, he does a full assessment of your body mechanics to ensure you perform movements in the correct way, as to ensure you do not sustain any injuries . Not only that, nutrition is key with his training programs . He will also give you specialized instructions on what to eat and when, to make sure your results and goals are optimal. Eric will follow through with your training program and hold you accountable, because he wants you to get your desired result , and will make sure you do, as long as you put in the work . My body type is slow to build muscle , I was doing bootcamp classes before and just maintained a “ skinny” body. After consistent training and program changes over these past 3 years , I have been building the muscular physique that I have wanted . I have found the training path I need to be on and I could not be more grateful . I am so happy I found Back 2 Basics training to get me where I am today.“

The gym is clean, and everyone there is so nice and supportive, staff and members alike. I train with Steven there, and he is one of the best trainers I've worked with (and I've worked with my fair share of them over the years). It is obvious that he cares about his clients and their well being. I have lower back issues, and Steven knew exactly what to do to address it but at the same time to continue progressing with the strength training and making gains. He has worked with me to build up my core strength and mobility, as well as technique, so that I can now do deadlifts and squats safely and confidently and even enjoy doing them! I am definitely stronger now than when I first started training with Steven. Many thanks to him!!“

I chose MOTI in Highland Park, CA because of it's excellent rating & close location. It turned out to be an excellent decision. It is a very attractive facility. The staff is so knowledgeable & helpful. Most of the time I met with Michael Yip. He set up a program of exercises to strengthen my femur & foot. He even worked on remolding my foot, which needed to be reshaped after the fall. I can't say enough good things about MOTI and all of it's staff. I would 100% recommend them to everyone!“

It is a good size, clean, rarely crowded, and has loads of different equipment and machines. The monthly membership price includes unlimited classes, which is a great deal. Furthermore, their PT staff is top notch. I started training with trainer Amber Meisner 3x a week and couldn't be happier with the results. First and foremost, Amber is an incredible and motivating trainer who knows how to encourage her clients while also keeping them accountable. Our weekly sessions are a highlight of my week. She's been instrumental in helping me improve my form which has made a huge difference in my workouts. Her attention to detail and cues help me to correct bad habits and build strength. Since starting with Amber I have felt more confident in my body and motivated to push my limits and get stronger! I can't recommend Amber enough to anyone who is looking to take their training to the next level.“
