He pulled up the livestream so that I was able to watch as Sitka was introduced to the other pups and staff. As I watched the livestream I could see he was very comfortable meeting staff and other pups, and that was very reassuring. He was happy when I picked him up and that made me comfortable. “What a gem! Paw Haven truly saved me over the holidays after I was searching for reliable dog care since losing our longtime dog sitter. From the moment I brought my dog in for his temperament test, I immediately felt at ease—the staff were relaxed yet incredibly professional.
My dog is a senior with diabetes, requires insulin, and is partially blind, so I was nervous leaving him for over a week with new people in a new place. The staff reassured me right away that my pup would be in great hands—and he absolutely was.

He not only takes the time to get to know my dog, but he also shows my alpha doggo who's boss which is very necessary for a dog like him lol. He also stays smelling good for a month which is ideal. “I've visited Pet Lover’s Resort three times, although never with my own dog. On the first occasion, I brought my sister’s dog, and on the subsequent visits, I took my cousin’s dog. The service was excellent on the first and second visits, and the pricing was reasonable. During the second visit, I requested grooming and a curtain trim for my cousin’s dog, which was done well for around $60.

However, my experience on the third visit was different. I requested only a basic grooming service—just a wash and blow dry, without any additional services like haircuts, teeth brushing, or nail trims. They initially quoted $90 for this, which seemed unreasonable, given that I had paid less for more services previously. After discussing the pricing with the owner, she agreed to lower it to $65. Later, I received a call from the front desk stating the charge would be $60, which I accepted. However, upon arrival, I was informed the fee was $65, as initially discussed. The inconsistency and lack of clear communication were frustrating, as it wasn’t about the extra five dollars, but rather the principle of the situation. Additionally, after the third visit, I noticed that my cousin's dog did not smell like anything at all, which was disappointing. This added to my annoyance, as I expected at least a pleasant scent after grooming.“

“The owner is a class act and understands customer service. I came in from out of town, and my dogs were absolutely filthy from a camping trip. I called late on a Monday for a same-day bath. The owner was absolutely amazing in accepting my dogs on short notice! This is the type of service that keeps customers returning. Not only did he accommodate me in a difficult time, but he also did a frickin amazing grooming job on my two Australian Shepherds!!! Pricing was great too. Can't thank him enough. Now every time I go into LA, I will stop by to have my dogs groomed.“

The grooming was ahhhhhmazing. My dog is SO soft and Ana did such a great job with the deshedding. Our dog literally looks and feels like a new dog. Her fur is soft like a puppy.
The products had a little scent to them, but very mild.
I have only ever had my dog groomed one other time by a mobile groomer, and the smell was so overpowering, and the experience wasn’t the best, which is why I hadn’t tried a mobile groomer again.
We will be scheduling with Ana again. She did an amazing job trimming our doggy as well. 5 star service!“

Always spotless and staff know their inventory which makes for a quick and pleasant pit stop. Easy pothole free complimentary parking lot in back or meters in front on Wilshire. Definitely the top of the list if you prefer to support a local brick and mortar for all your best friends raw kibble likings.“
