“Wow! What a pleasant experience. I went in to Dr. Cohenmehr's office for my yearly eye exam as a new patient. The office itself was very spacious and clean. The people at the front desk had excellent customer service skills and were extremely polite. I was only waiting a short time until Dr. Cohenmehr pulled me to the back. I must say he is extremely pleasant and fun to talk to. He made humorous eye jokes that made me genuinely laugh. Super informative! Answered all my questions in detail and made recommendations for my itchy eye problems. As an added bonus, he taught me how to turn the blue light on my phone to a lower setting. Literally walked me through each step there and then. Each exam was performed thoroughly and I felt well taken care of. He is the kind of person you wouldn't mind having a cup of coffee with, truly! I was in and out in 20 minutes. Seriously, cannot say enough nice things about this business. I wish all of my wellness visits were as delightful as this one. “I bought a pair of glasses with progressive lenses from a custom lab before I moved to California. They were perfect, but unfortunately, the frames broke. So, I went to three different places over two years to find replacements but none of the glasses matched the quality of my original pair. After doing some research, I realized that the poor results were due to fitting and manufacturing issues. Nowadays, most glasses are manufactured in central labs, which eliminates the personal touch required for working with progressives. So, I started looking for a place with an in-house lab and found Optometric Cafe in Beverly Hills. Although it was a bit out of my way, I decided to give them a try. When I called for an appointment, I spoke with Morteza, the owner, who was kind and pleasant. He quickly scheduled my exam and personally handled the fitting and measurement process. When I received my glasses, the quality was incredible, which confirms the importance of fitting and measurements. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience at Optometric Cafe and highly recommend them to anyone with a tricky glasses prescription.“
