I e-mailed Pacific Refrigeration late in the day with the make & model number of our Rheem HVAC unit, explained the issue and let them know that it's not an emergency, just send a tech when one is in our neighborhood. The next morning we got a call stating a tech could be here in an hour, so I stated that would work. Within the hour, Dean showed up ready to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad relay switch and that he had one with him. In no time at all, he had the new relay installed, the unit buttoned back up and was complete. “I have been working with Eli and James for years. I have two properties in San Diego and they have serviced both over the past 5 years. This time, I had a washer that had a clutch problem. I called James on a Friday and he answered and said he can fix it Monday morning. He gave me a price for parts and labor that was very fair for market standards. I made a deal with James and told him that I would pull the washer out of the laundry room so he could have more space to get to the bottom of the washer. I also agreed to reinstall the washer and dryer back in the laundry room. James replaced the clutch with his patience, precision and experience. The part of this job that impressed me the most, James not only fixed my washer, but he also replaced the hoses and reinstalled both appliances back to the laundry room. He saved me an hour or more of my time and didn’t charge me anymore than his original quote. “I rarely need a handyman but I just moved in to my own apartment- alone and the stove/oven turned on but when I went to actually use it it did get hot or even warm. Art came over on Sunday within about an hour of the service request. He fixed the problem in minutes and then thoroughly checked that each burner, oven setting etc was in working order. He showed me which circuit breaker it was on and proceeded to check my heat/ac was also working properly before leaving. The whole appointment including his cleanup was complete with about 30-40 mins. He's timely, affordable, respectful of your home and friendly.
