Pacific was recommended by the contractor that originally installed our HVAC units, but has since retired. I knew he would point me in the right direction and he did! I e-mailed Pacific Refrigeration late in the day with the make & model number of our Rheem HVAC unit, explained the issue and let them know that it's not an emergency, just send a tech when one is in our neighborhood. The next morning we got a call stating a tech could be here in an hour, so I stated that would work. Within the hour, Dean showed up ready to work. I visited them last week and found them all to be very kind. They only do COMMERCIAL sales, service and installation of things like HVAC, cold storage and commercial kitchen equipment however, so they were not able to help me for my home A/C but I would go back if I ever get my restaurant idea off the ground.
While they couldn't help me with my home HVAC system, since they are a commercial air conditioning sales and service company, they did give me some good tips on what to ask to find the most qualified technician for my needs. If I ever work in a restaurant kitchen again, I would highly recommend Pacific Refrigeration for cooking, cooling equipment maintenance.
