The project was challenging for a variety of reasons not the least of which was it was done 100% remotely which Mehdi taking the reigns for project management as part of his stellar general contractor services. Mehdi is both artistic and practical (with his engineering background) and he has great vision on re-imagining a space and more importantly, he listens to you and collaborates with you to come up with a final product that exceeds expectations! First, helping me select the right product was a breeze because Mario made himself available to drop off samples and measure my place the same day since he had a project nearby! Next hardwood purchase, delivery, demolition, install and cleanup all came together nicely with Melvin & team. They showed up promptly at 8am daily and with a tight schedule, they had my floors installed 3 days early. This old home had lots of leveling challenges which they also smoothed out! Luxe Home Remodeling gets five stars. I called Samo, the owner and explained my dilemma and he scheduled an appointment to meet with me to discuss my project. Coming behind another contractor to fix is not an easy task, but Samo assessed the situation and new immediately what needed to be done according to code specification. Very knowledgeable, patient, even tempered and personable. A truly great guy!!!! Samo worked within my budget and timeline, which was very important given the fact that I had already invested time and money into a project he was coming in to fix and finish. He is a true visionary and a problem solver who knows code and construction. Has a great eye for detail too. When shopping for materials, he knew where to direct me to stay within budget without compromising quality. He was responsive to all my needs and calls, even if the calls were back to back. He'd say after hanging up with the first call, upon immediately answering the second call, it takes two and we'd laugh. He knew it was me. Very responsive to my needs. Never a negative vibe from Samo; always positive and honest. His tile guys were amazing; Danny and company (respect the tile lines) plumbers and electricians. “Wilson Floor Company just completed refinishing my hardwood floors which were last refinished in 2004. Travis quickly came to my home and provided a bid. He remained in constant communication with me and answered all of my many questions along the way, always in a timely fashion. Rafael and his assistant Gabriel were outstanding! They are extremely professional and meticulous in how they drape everything off, carefully sand the floors down and then apply the stain and finishing sealer coats. They also did an excellent job of replacing several floorboards that had dry termite damage. My floors look wonderful and I could not be happier. I highly recommend this company - particularly if you are refinishing wood floors!“
