“I recently contracted Pacific Concrete to build the concrete decking around our new pool, which was in the process of being built. Our pool company referred us to PC and after getting a couple of other quotes, I ultimately decided to go with PC because their professionalism and the fact that they’d worked with our pool company on multiple jobs. They finished our decking a couple of weeks ago and I’m beyond pleased with the results. The quote and sales process, which was handled by Justin, was timely, professional, and thorough. Justin listened to what we wanted in terms of design and aesthetic, gave us a few options in terms of color and finish, and had a solution to some of the more tricky issues we had to deal with (such as eliminating a sump pump and replacing it with a French drain). The construction process was also handled professionally and as timely as possible. The crew lost several weeks of work time due to the crazy rains in San Diego in February \\u0026 March, but Brandon, Juan, and the rest of the team was there to work and get as much done as they could on the days the weather cooperated. A few other things stand out from my experience with PC. During the construction phase and prior to the pour, I wanted to make sure the areas that were free of concrete weren’t land-locked in terms of having water and electrical sources for future irrigation and landscape lighting. A five min conversation with Brandon led to them adding conduit and irrigation tubes and re-routing some of the water sources in our backyard to make sure we were covered. There was a minimal charge, but I really appreciated Brandon listening to my request and working with me to find a solution. Also, special shout to the detail that went into capping off a few steps in our layout to match the pool coping/finish (see photos). Overall I’m super pleased with the end result and experience working with Pacific Concrete. I’ve already asked them to come back and give a quote for phase II of our project to demo the existing fence and put in a retaining wall. Look forward to working with them again soon.“

“Owner, Jason of San Diego Footing Repair came over and went under our 1956 house with pier and posts and let us know we were in need of six additional pylons and shimming on others that were not touching. Our foundation had a crack that needed to have substance put in it and a couple of braces. He gave us a highly competitive quote (we interviewed three companies) and was professional and knowledgeable about our foundation, explaining the procedures for repairs in detail. We had an emergency sewer problem almost immediately after his visit and Michele at the office was very understanding about our timeline when we needed to address the other issue first. Michele was always available to answer our questions and was so kind to offer an understanding ear during our sewer repair emergency. Happily the day of our work was even moved up a few weeks before scheduled which we appreciated due to the holiday. Dustin, Hirhm, and Lance - our foundation team, arrived early the day of work and were friendly and professional as they worked quickly and effectively on the only day projecting afternoon rain for months. The team worked tirelessly under our house for over six hours and explained work to us if we had questions. They cleaned up everything very well and even bussed out the two extra pieces from our foundation that had crumbled off. At the end, Dustin took some amazing pictures for us and kept the team working hard with his sunny personality and can do spirit. “LZ built my ADU in 2023. Working with them went very well. They stuck to contract price even when unexpected snags occurred. In my case they wanted to tie into the house sewer in my garage but when unexpected piping was found in the slab they rerouted the sewer pipe. All this was done with no extra charge. I did do contract mods as I realized opportunities to improve the design and their pricing for the changes were very reasonable. I lived in my house as the ADU was built so I saw it every day. I had questions/comments on how things were done but working with the project manager Gary we came to acceptable resolutions. The materials/ workmanship/ appliances/ cabinets that LZ provided have all held up. I was real happy with how the project turned out overall. I was especially happy how they blended the ADU connection to my main house and how the noise suppression between the ADU and main house they provided (costed upfront in the contract) has turned out.“

That was my reaction seeing the finished transformation after Drew and his sons worked their magic to beautify our hideous portion of driveway concrete that was sadly jackhammered and poorly patched up after the repair of a cracked and leaking PVC pipe 3 feet below the concrete. Drew recommended a stone strip pattern with a textured coat finish and neutral coloring to match our landscape. “Pacific was recommended by the contractor that originally installed our HVAC units, but has since retired. I knew he would point me in the right direction and he did! I e-mailed Pacific Refrigeration late in the day with the make & model number of our Rheem HVAC unit, explained the issue and let them know that it's not an emergency, just send a tech when one is in our neighborhood. The next morning we got a call stating a tech could be here in an hour, so I stated that would work. Within the hour, Dean showed up ready to work.
