“I go to this little spa because aesthetician Beth provides a really expert facial, including gentle microstimulation and non-irritating skin products. If you go here, minimize boojee expectations: The door may be locked when you arrive, and if you knock, you'll get a reprimand. When you do get inside, the restroom is very small, with no make-up mirrors or seating near the mirror; and the lounge area isn't very welcoming, with a fireplace that's never lit, and no spa music. Don't expect hot tea or a drink selection. The rubber slippers are very hard, so you may want to bring your own. Nevertheless, the best facial I've had in the Del Mar area! I highly recommend it.“

“I have been to many local spas for facials and my recent facial at L' Auberge has to be one of the best! From check-in to check-out to staff was very friendly. Spa space was relaxing, beautiful with amenities such as fire pit in the waiting area, dry sauna and spacious women's locker area. Tea, water and fruit were available in the lounge area also. The best part of my spa experience however, was my treatment with Christee. Christee was amazing!
After examining my skin I upgraded to a moisturizing treatment and it was so worth it. My 50 minute facial was so relaxing and left my skin glowing. Highly recommend Chrissie and the Spa at L’Auberge if you’re looking for that special spa experience in San Diego. As part of the experience we made it a day and rented a cabana poolside, can honestly say this was one of the best days ever!“

“I have struggled with anxiety for as long as I can remember. In 2023, it started to affect me physically. I felt my throat tighten or had trouble swallowing when I was anxious. I read online that this was common and checked my body for other signs of danger, like a bee sting or a food allergy. But the anxiety got worse and I could not swallow at all. It began with feeling overwhelmed in restaurants, so I stopped eating out. But then it followed me home and I stopped eating solid food. I had severe panic attacks every day and I was losing control. I searched online and the usual advice was to see a psychiatrist and get medication. But I wanted to address the root cause, not just the symptoms. I looked for other options and found hypnotherapy. It had an over 80% success rate, so I decided to give it a try instead of taking pills every day. I searched for a hypnotherapist in San Diego and found Kim. She was professional, knowledgeable, and specialized in panic disorders. She also didn’t make me feel like a weirdo, and was very comforting and reassuring. I thought we were a great match and I was right. After six sessions, I could enjoy food and drinks again. I no longer had daily panic attacks and hardly ever felt anxious. I could eat out in restaurants again. Working with Kim helped me get down to the cause of my anxiety. Kim's hypnotherapy gave me the most peace and contentment I ever felt. I was not a believer in hypnotherapy or holistic healing before, but I was willing to try anything to avoid the side effects of medication. I recommend her to everyone I know because everyone deserves the peace and healing I found. 100/100 recommend if you’re feeling unease, from worry to full blown panic attacks, Kim WILL help.“
