“Her book, "Do No Harm" Dog Training and Behavior Manual is excellent for both pet dog guardians and dog trainers. It gives an inside look into the Hiarchy of Dog Needs and gives step by step force free methods to teach behaviors and fix the common problems dog lovers face with their pups. This was a great addition to my studies and library and I recommend it to anyone looking to add a dog into their life, or enriching the lives of the dog they already have.“

“To put it simply, Cara changed our lives and helped with something we thought was impossible ? We were completely unprepared bringing home our newborn baby in July to meet our high energy 5 year old bulldog, kenobi. He didn’t adjust well to the baby, and we spent the first two weeks of her life with me upstairs and my husband downstairs with the dog. Every attempt at introducing him to our baby failed and got increasingly worse. We had no other choice than to seek a trainer.Cara immediately identified his food was a contributing issue to his temperament. Within 2 training sessions, we were able to live harmoniously with the baby and kenobi, while spending the rest of our training sessions working on basic obedience.She not only gave us the tools on correcting his behavior, she really explained WHY we use those tools so we could apply them correctly.Kenobi only left the house to go to the vet or to be boarded because he was uncontrollable on a leash. Cara not only taught us how to manage him with a prong collar and leash, the last training session was spent at a park to help our anxiety with having him out of the house. He is now THRIVING and going on 1-2 mile walks daily.Everyone who has encountered Kenobi has noticed the change, and we couldn’t be more thankful for her help.Editing to add a pictures of Kenobi coexisting with his little human ♥️“

“I could not be more grateful for all the knowledge that Pilar has shared over the course of training my ACD mix. Piper can be a frustrated greeter and is strong enough to really pull while on the leash, but both behaviors have been minimized with the right tools under our belt. Walks went from being stressful to being a fun experience for us both! We learn new games and training exercises - time spent with Pilar is always rewarding! Her experience time and time again has helped me communicate more clearly to my dog as well as understand her behaviors. Pilar's positive reinforcement training has helped me build a strong bond with Piper built on trust, and I'm so grateful!“

“Worked with Maryna for a five day reverse board and train with our 4 month old cattle dog. He is very fearful of strangers and she was kind and patient with him. She provided daily pictures, videos and updates. He has a long way to go but we already are seeing improvements!“
“Love this groomer and the staff. They take such good care of our boys and are incredible groomers. We have two standard poodles with difficult hair to maintain and Shaggy Dogs does it better than any other groomers.“
