“I've been meaning to put this review up, as I had absolutely incredible service from Ola last week replacing an old swamp cooler in the home I rent.

Unfortunately, Ola received the incorrect information regarding the unit to no fault of his own. And because of that, it made his job much harder.

He ended up driving all the way from Walnut Creek to Santa Rosa to pick up the correct unit for me and still installed it the same day.

He was extremely friendly, kind, and clearly went way above and beyond to get the job done for me on a very hot day! Gotta recognize and appreciate those things, especially in today's age!

“I was fortunate enough to find this great company and the wonderful staff including Juan, Emilio, Mike and Suzy. Everyone has been so kind and friendly.

Every one of them was patient caring and honest. Juan and Emilio were very thorough in the inspection and cleaning of our AC and furnace. Both of which are running like new. This is very impressive given that our furnace is over 30 years old.

The entire staff was very patient with us and made sure I clearly understood my options and provided the most cost effective solutions.

“My AC went out a few months ago during the heat wave. The original company that installed the AC 3 years ago didn't want to take responsibility of fixing it. After a couple of months of trying to find someone to fix our AC, a friend recommended MechPros. I emailed MechPros of what has happened to the AC, Kelly was fast to respond. She got Paul to call me and I gave him details of why the AC stopped running. We texted to try to get the unit fixed. They ordered the part, squeezed us into their very busy schedule and their technicians came and got our AC up and running.

“Daniel, Zach, and team were awesome! We had a problem with our upstairs cooling and heating for years and we finally decided to look into it. We contacted Energy Solutions and they were able to diagnose the problem and gave us a fair estimate to fix it. They came the next week on schedule and did the work in the exact amount of time they estimated and with excellent quality. I appreciated that they kept me informed on their progress along the way. “There is no one better than Don. Simply put, he's the only one in the business I trust. He's not going to B.S. you into spending money on something you don't need. I had two different AC companies this past summer tell me I needed a new furnace and AC system because I had leak in my system. Cost would be over $20K. Don came over and found a small loose gasket which was leaking gas, which somehow the other two companies missed after being here four times , and possibly even intentionally caused (I was also charged over $1K to refill the puron gas multiple times). Don had a gas detector that didn't pick up any other leak. Net net, Don saved me at least $20K which I'll be forever grateful for!!“

“My son owns Dobson Construction Inc. in Martinez. I always call him for recommendations when I need service work at my home. For HVAC he said to call Compare Heating and Air. My furnace quit working and the weather was quite cold. I called Compare at 7:15 AM. Jayne dispatched Brandon who was at my home by 9am. He quickly found the problem, an ignitor. He went back to the shop to retrieve the item and had it installed and running before noon. This is the 2nd time I have used their services. They carefully removed the 80 year old gas furnace from the crawl space and patched all holes. They installed the air handler in the attic and carefully cut in all new vents in the ceiling. Duct runs in the tight attic space are installed with the highest level of care and craftsmanship. They were extremely diligent about managing dust and mess; the only sign that they had been in the house were the new vents in the ceiling. “I cannot say enough good things about Qual-Tech AC & Heating and their technician, Christian. After being without AC for two months, I had already gone through four different AC companies, none of which could figure out the problem. To make matters worse, I kept being told my unit was an Inverter system that they didn’t know how to work on.

Christian showed up and immediately recognized what all the other companies had missed — my system is not an Inverter AC, but a regular system with a circuit board that allows for variable speed startup. That detail had confused every other technician, but not Christian. While I waited for a truly competent company to arrive, my second AC went out as well. Christian was able to repair both units quickly and efficiently.

For context, one of the first companies I called treated my system like a guessing game — swapping out parts on my 2-year-old unit and even over-pressurizing the system, which caused it to fail after they left. Christian found and corrected this issue right away.

He was professional, courteous, and efficient throughout the entire process. After months of frustration, I finally have both AC units working perfectly again, thanks to Christian and Qual-Tech.
