If you're broke, tell him, I always do, so then he only does the tests he thinks will confirm his suspicions, if he's wrong he'll move on to the next test rather than run the whole battery and charge you a fortune. He's been right the first time, every time, so I get in and out quickly for minimal expense.He's not a cut-rate vet, either. Our male cat had urinary crystals (common in male cats, sometimes females too, so if yours starts peeing or pooping outside the litter box, out of nowhere, TAKE THEM IN IMMEDIATELY). Dr. Ron was able to take a quick pee sample, spin it, and put it into a brand-new machine that is not widely available at other vets. We were looking at the results with him in 20 minutes.The machine puts the images of the pee sample on the screen, identifies the types of crystals present, and circles them on screen. Without the trial-and-error that usually comes with figuring out how to treat feline urinary crystals, Dr. Ron knew immediately that 99% of the crystals were struvite, meaning our boy can't break down magnesium. Dr. Ron wrote a prescription for special magnesium-free food, and in 72 hours the crystals were gone. Freddie's been happy and healthy ever since.In the last year, he's treated our dog for a heart murmur and fluid build-up, and an injured ASL. His diagnoses and prescriptions have been spot-on and helped our dog recover her quality of life! I can't recommend Dr. Ron enough, he is a vet who cares about your animal and always gives it his best.“

“This review is from 2021 and way overdue: My GSD had large grey tick (rare in these parts)during the pandenmic period on her chest and our usual vet wouldn't even take her as he was busy and every place I called was booked. So when I saw Pinnacle, I called and the gal that answered the phone said it sounded like an emergency and it would be quick so I drove there and someone came out as we waited outside the parking lot and they returned her with a giant pregnant tick in a tube! Obviously I did't want the tick even though it would make a good conversation piece but they asked us if they can keep it and of course I said Yes!....also our regular vet in canyon country recommended surger for my dog because he said she had kidney stones and urinary bladder infection..I didn't want to do surgery so I took her to Pinnacle and they said no surgery. Her blood panel showed very low on sugar and to give her actual cranberry pills that humans take...It worked! I am forever grateful to Pinnacle and the staff they hire“

“Tags is the best and most affordable vet I know. The clinic is run by honest hardworking people who charge nominal fees for 5-star service. Dr. Nastro and his team truly care about the animals. They take the time to explain everything and answer all questions. My dog had an urgent issue and we couldn't afford to take him anywhere else. Dr. Nastro and his team recognized the urgency of the situation and accommodated us, even though this meant that him and his staff had to stay at work for 2 additional hours after the clinic closed to finish their work. I am very grateful that they were able to squeeze us in at the last minute, the day before the holiday weekend. They are closed 12/23/23-1/1/24. It's also great to know that they take walk-in vaccinations for only $20 each.“

They were able to surgically repair her hip and give her physical therapy with their underwater treadmill. Thanks to Laura and Sarah for working with her and getting her back to her energetic self. She no longer has to use her wheelchair!“

“I'm in rescue and we rescued 2 dogs out of Seacca Animal Shelter, currently there is a horrible strain going around there. Most of them have kennel cough and developing into pneumonia.Sand Canyon took Tucker in that day I called and took excellent care of him. He had a fever of 104.8 pneumonia . This office was so kind and you can tell the genuinely care.Very pleased ??‼️.“
“Thank goodness for these people! Our dog had diarrhea and bloody vomit and we were so worried. Our regular vet could not see her( shameful that your vet for 20 yrs won't fit you in) . We called early in the morning and were able to be seen by 9:15 for an emergency appointment. Yes, it costs more, but, yes, it's with the peace of mind. They gave us all the options for treatment and were not pushing anything on us. Dr Brink was very thorough and reassuring. We wanted X-rays and. Blood work to be sure of any possible issues. Diagnosed with pancreatitis. The entire staff was kind and upbeat which is always nice when you are in state of worry. Couldn't have been more comforting. They called me to check up on her progress at home today, which is also a bonus. Much appreciated. The facility is clean and well organized. Very happy we found this place. It will be our new vet for our dogs.“
