Joe detected what the problem was, ordered the part and later found out it was going to take a few days to get here. Jeff Stuckert called me back between his jobs and explained the common furnace problems and how to find them on the circuit board under the heating section. Then he asked for me to send him the wiring diagram photos and found the fuse which could be the problem. It was. Heat went on and off in response to the thermostat. While they are busy and not always immediately available we booked a date a week out. Joe showed up, diagnosed the problem (a new circuit board) which he had on his truck. “We hired Jimenez Hydronics to help us with Radiant Heating for our house. We are extremely pleased with the professionalism and the service provided by Irving and his team. Irving was very patient and though during the design phase. Due to the large size of the house he recommended multiple zones, more than we felt we needed however we went with his recommendation. After living 8 months in the house we are glad we opted for his solution, since we only heat the area we use and keep most of the house in energy saving mode. We are also very pleased with the cleanliness of his team's work. Irving is also very technically savvy with the latest boiler technology and thermostats. In my case I selected Nest which seems to be working great in every room and bathrooms. Our mechanical room is virtually a showcase with everything marked with labels. I am always excited to show my geeky engineering friend my hydronics mechanical room. The initial cost of Radiant heating is a bit more than your regular HVAC but if you are building a new home in the Bay Area or doing a major remodel, radiant heating is the best solution. It is the ultimate in comfort and cost of running radiant with heat recovery for home water heating is much lower than traditionally system. In my last home I had HVAC and tankless heaters and even though my last home was smaller that my current residence, my energy usage for my new house is much less compared to my previous home.“

“Anthony did an excellent job, tracking the original washer drain problem to the sewer line, flushing the line and replacing the old and cracked flow line. He made having a contractor working on this old house a pleasant experience, which most aren't. Expensive, yes, but he was reasonable and stuck to the estimate.

The one star off was for some debris left behind (some old foam and rubber gloves) outside the basement, which I'm sure was an oversight, given that he worked through lunch and was off to another night time job. Thanks Anthony! I will use (and recommend) Magic again.“

“I had Next install a brand new heat pump in my condo in SF to replace an old furnace. They did a great job and price was reasonable. Some minor delays and the project ran over in terms of time but the two folks working on the project stayed late to get the job done. I would say that the only negative feedback is that the communication could have been better when delays / issues were occurring on when they would come back, etc. I had to be proactive to call their office but other than that they did an excellent job and I could not be more than happy with my new heat pump“
