“I was impressed by the care and analysis taken by La Foot staff before they tried to sell me anything. After careful listening to my athletic needs, habits, and deficiencies they recommended a shoe that turned out to be ideal for my needs. The initial experience was so positive that I returned for gym specific shoes and ortho inserts for my Haflinger cork slippers. 6-months + into wearing the first shoes I remain totally satisfied. If you visit La Foot Plus be sure to go well before closing time. At the end of the day they respect their staff's non-work time by closing promptly at closing time, if not a little before.“

“#bdayseason2025 - HEALTH A wonderful treat of my birthday season was an unexpected referral to the Clinton Chiropractic. Dr. Reyes' technique combines electric stimulation with massage gun as needed, before making the hands-on adjustment. I noticed results within a few visits, with lingering improvements to my wrist & shoulders. His relaxed, personable manner doesn't hurt either!“

ProActive Chiropractic Sports Medicine

“If you are an athlete or a desk worker dealing with stubborn pain, do yourself a favor and see Dr. Cohen and the ProActive team.

The Issue: As an endurance athlete and avid tennis player who also works a desk job, I developed acute Achilles tendonitis. The pain was so sharp that I could barely walk when getting out of bed in the mornings. My podiatrist recommended new footwear, stretching, and not playing tennis. Even after resting and following that regimen for weeks, that did not stop the pain...which is made me seek out an alternative approach, because I did not like how long this was taking and I love being active.

The Approach: Dr. Cohen looks at the body holistically. He has an uncanny ability to understand how the entire chain connects—how the head (and even my thoughts!) affects the foot. He focused on realigning my overall posture and balancing out my muscles to address the heavy rotation from my sport.

The Result: The sharp pain completely vanished after a few sessions. It has been over a year now, and I am still 100% pain-free.

Dr. Cohen is incredibly intuitive and possesses a level of expertise that sets him apart from other healthcare practitioners. He doesn't just treat symptoms; he fixes the root cause. He is approachable, funny, good-natured, kind, and curious. I highly recommend him!“

“I started seeing Dr. Jenny Nieters in June 2024 and she has helped me tremendously. I was a soccer goalkeeper at the University of Southern California and she has seen me through multiple injuries. For about a year, I struggled to understand what was going on with my adductors. Without relying on any scans/imaging—and based solely on working on me over a period of time—Dr. Nieters suspected that my adductors weren't fully attached. She recommended that I travel to Philadelphia to visit Vincera Institute, a specialized core clinic, for further imaging.

Through that process, I learned that both my adductors and my rectus abdominis were not fully attached, and that I would need a combined hip and core surgery. If it weren't for Dr. Nieters, I would have only undergone hip surgery and would not have discovered the full extent of my physical situation for a long time.

I had surgery in September 2025 and am currently working hard at rehab. Thanks to Dr. Nieters, I now have a real chance to get back on the field. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also one of the kindest, and most genuinely caring people I've ever met. She has a true gift for what she does. I always leave our sessions feeling better—not just physically, but mentally as well. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to see her!!“

“I used to see Dr. Gregory regularly in San Carlos after a car accident, but I moved to San Francisco, and only saw her for chiropractic "emergencies" since it was definitely a schlep (that she is well worth). I am so incredibly glad she opened up an office in ActivSpace in the Mission in San Francisco! You can't beat the care. She is also inexpensive compared to other chiropractors in SF.

Dr. Gregory always figures out what the underlying issues is and is usually able to fix it. She is like House (Like Hugh Laurie, except doesn't always misdiagnose everything as Lupus). While it says she's a sports and extremities chiropractor, she really is amazing at diagnosing underlying issues. For example, my rheumatologist and endocrinologist were stumped for 9 months, she helped identify my issue as primary hypoparathyroidism. Most recently, she fixed my carpal tunnel syndrome and saved me from unnecessary surgery. Turns out, my second rib was out from a 30-year-old injury.

Although she doesn't take my insurance, she is so worth paying out of pocket (i could submit the superbills she provides, but my insurance is terrible, so I don't bother, as she really is affordable).

I couldn't recommend Dr. Gregory any higher.“

“I can't recommend Innersport highly enough! Dr. Jess is exceptionally knowledgeable and gave me a wide array of very effective exercises to address ongoing hamstring and peroneal tendon pain, focusing not just on relieving symptoms but on combating the underlying imbalances that lead to injury. As a serious runner chasing the olympic marathon trial standard, I appreciated her experience working with endurance athletes competing at the highest levels, and her commitment to getting me back to full volume training. She followed up by email between sessions with suggestions, streamlined the booking process to make it easy to get an appointment, and was always timely and personable. The gold standard for physical therapy.“

“I’ve been seeing Dr. Dufour for about a month now and it’s been such a good experience so far. I sit for about 12 hours a day for work, which has really messed with my back, shoulders and overall tightness.

He actually takes the time to figure out what’s going on instead of just doing a quick adjustment and sending you on your way. We’ve been working on a plan using the spinal decompression machine along with myofascial massage.

The decompression has helped take some pressure off, and the massage work has been great for loosening up really tight areas from all the sitting. I feel like we’re actually working toward long-term results.

Definitely recommend if you’re looking for someone who really pays attention and creates a plan that works for you.“

“My first visit to Dr. Basco's clinic was 2011 when I was looking for a chiropractor for my neck adjustment that cause tingling and pain in my fingers. The machine decompression is very helpful to align my whole spine. I feel a little taller every time my spine was stretched. I also
brought my two kids for spine adjustment. Love the frontal water view of the clinic and lots of parking space. Dr. Basco is kind and attentive to the patients need.“

“Amy and Iris are the two PT's that I've seen at Back to Life Physical Therapy; they both are very knowledgable, and thorough in their explanations and guidance. In addition to their abundant knowledge in the specific area of pelvic floor, the extra care and time they put in to really listen, understand and then instruct me have been what distinguishes them in the field of physical therapists. I have improved since starting to work with them (a year ago). The office is kept clean and neat, and is full of natural wood, natural light, and includes a library of pertinent material. Colleena, the receptionist/office manager, is a wonderful and personable and efficient part of the team. I highly recommend this practice.“

Kevin Minney - Your Professional Partner In Wellness Sports Medicine

“After 10 years, I came back to Kevin. 10 years ago, I saw him because of an MCL twist. It was an old injury, he helped me to recover fast, and he sent me to a Chiropractor in Oakland for adjusting the loose knee, since this is not his speciality. Because I worked in SF finance district, I found a person who does chiropractic and acupuncture. I keep going nowadays every year. He's the only doctor I trusted because he was so good. However, 6 months ago, because of work stress, and led to be fired. My nerve system was completely messed up. I didn't recognize how much the stress damaged my body. Every night I slept in pain, woke up with tensed body and sore and painful muscles. I went to see the person in SF a few times, and I couldn't believe it didn't work after lots of treatment because it has been working with me for the past 10 years for my knee, shoulder, and hip pains. A few days ago, I realized it's the stress that completely messed up my nerve system. And I need to find someone to help me relieve my nerve system. Because of the realization, I thought about Kevin immediately and booked an appointment with him. I went in today, and he wrote down the notes for the pains I had, and he wrote down his plan with a few hand movements in the air to see which part of my body should be treated first. Patiently, he gave me treatment, and after each one, I walked outside his clinic, and I could tell my turns got faster and the pace got bigger. One of the major pains is in my left leg, left hip, one of the gentle adjustments he made, after 1 s, I stood there see my body turning 7 times on the left naturally without any pull from anybody. Finally, that side got relieved, my hip rotated back to where it was supposed to be. The back of my knee was swollen with a big ball. The acupuncture didn't take it away completely. Kevin told me that the front muscle was rotated outward. He made a few adjustments, and when I put my leg down from the stool, I felt like someone was pulling my leg down with a soft landing, and I could feel and see myself standing like a normal person without leaning to the left. Neck and shoulder were the biggest pain I had, and Kevin started with that area as the 1st treat. Immediately, my shoulder went down, headache was removed. If you like me being stressed. Try it out here. It's worthy you time, and it really heals.“
