I have been going to Avid for various sports-related injuries for years and I cannot recommend them enough! Dr. Jow and the rest of the staff not only are experts at figuring out what my body needs but also are a joy to be around. I love how they are research-driven and are on the leading edge of sports medicine treatment and recovery. The space is beautiful, the energy is wonderful, and it overall has an amazing community feel. Avid is the best!

Reviews
I went for treatment of tendonopathy of the Achilles tendon, and got six treatments of Shockwave therapy... three different types per session. Excellent communication, easy to schedule visits, a pleasant environment... just overall a positive experience in every way. And Catie at the front desk is a fountain of cheerfulness and a whirlwind of efficiency!
Two years ago I crashed my mountain bike and broke my femur just below the hip joint which required a hip replacement. Six months into my recovery I suddenly experienced severe pain in my posterior hip and sciatica. The surgeon imaged my hip but couldn't find anything wrong. The pain was so terrible I could barely walk two blocks and started using trekking poles to get around. For a year and half, I went through extensive physical therapy and rehab, which did help, but I never was able to regain full strength in my leg. And it wouldn't take much to put me in excruciating pain which would leave me limping for days.
