“Of the several HVAC contractors I talked to, Jim at Bruce Mechanical was the one to look at duct sizing as well as offer a manual J calculation to determine what size of heating system was needed. He then offered information on heating with gas vs with a heat pump and the interplay with my undersized ducts. I thought he struck a great balance of offering data and experience based advice and voicing concerns along with letting me make my own decisions. Their bid was competitive.
