We don’t realize how something rather simple can impact us emotionally. Trish listened and heard me…with empathy and respect. She has restored my confidence and made our time together both instructive and fun!! No rush was involved -it was very relaxing. Her knowledge of proper products and their application was extensive. I attended a 5 week chakra cleansing yoga with crystals series with Rachelle. The space is beautiful and has an amazing vibe, the yoga was just what my body and soul needed, and Rachelle was very lovely. I would 100% recommend to everyone!
In November 2024 my husband was in the hospital for 6 weeks and had surgery which resulted in him having to use a walker when he came home in December. I contacted Cam and Kali while he was in the hospital enquiring if they could convert our bath tub/shower into a lower walk in tub. Kali was very helpful and contacted Cam who was working in our area and he came that day to inspect our bath tub/shower and called the following day to say he had found a bath tub cut out kit which would work. He immediately ordered it and when the bath tub cut out kit arrived he came and installed it. He also added a hand held shower attachment, a suction cup grab bar for safety and added extra grout around the existing bath tub fittings. The work he did was exceptional and very professionally done. Cam was very friendly and cleaned up his work area. My husband was very pleased and grateful to Cam as now he can step into the tub from his walker and sit on a bath chair to have a shower. Barbara and Roy Hartmann Sidney, BC

Sasquatch Heating Services just completed a major heating renovation on our home. They removed the old gas furnace and installed a new heat pump system. They kept in touch with me at all times, dealt with the gov’t rebates and warranty registered all our equipment on our behalf. The HVAC techs, Eric and Gino were very pleasant to deal with and were very professional. The same goes for Gord who did the electrical work. I also think that Lucas (estimator), Amy (installs) and the owner Dale were great and easy to deal with The final result is an amazing setup, clean work area and a fully functional heat pump. I would highly recommend Sasquatch Heating Services.

I booked an appointment with Jonathan and from the very first appointment I was thoroughly impressed. I have seen many health practitioners and doctors over the years and not one gave me as thorough an assessment as Jonathan did the first time we met. He has worked with me to help me understand my condition as well as to establish a safe and effective exercise regime to achieve my fitness goals. He has been patient and imperturbable dealing with my many questions and I feel like I am slowly getting my life back. That's HUGE!

I hired Matt of Metric Electrical Services to update my home power to a 200 Amp service and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of work he did on the house. He quoted us a fair price, explained the process, and was on site getting things set up within about a week or so.I've dealt with my share of nightmare contractors in the past, I've had roofers smoke cigarettes on my roof in the middle of wildfire season, had a concrete guy take 3 months to show up then beg for cash so he could "convince his guys to come do the work" and many other issues in the past. I'm happy to say I have had no such issues with Matt.Matt was organized, and cleaned up the work site after the work was done. The work also looks aesthetically pleasing now that he is finished, and I can tell he did everything he could to make it not only function as intended but look good and not be an eyesore.I recently found out I needed some work done on another area, and he is making time out of his busy schedule on short notice to help me with it.And I will be going to him for future electrical work as well regarding some additions we will be making because I know he is a contractor I can trust.10/10 would recommend, He is a friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, and honest contractor, and you won't be disappointed with his work.

I had a beautiful bouquet delivered in SHIRLEY! Didn't know anyone would do that. My flowers lasted 2 weeks! I have never had flowers so fresh. Wonderful mixture and the delivery man (I think was Tom) was so sweet! Awesome business well worth supporting!
I had a vehicle that had just had it's shocks brocken. The vehicle had to travel up Island for personal use. Josh took my call, gave him the vehicle information and told me he would order the parts and to bring my vehicle in. Even though I didn't have an appointment they would find the time to fix it. They did a very professional job as always. I only bring my vehicles to them. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, fair priced , and family run. It's always a pleasure to talk and discuss any issues with my vehicles as they are extremely friendly and offer expert advise. I have rarely if at all posted a review on and individual or the company she represent, but once in a while, somebody goes above and beyond the norm and I was compelled to do so....this is a shout out to AILLEY a plumber from Homewise Plumbing in Sooke B.C. She was absolutely. amazing, so nice, knowledgeable and expedient in what she did! In a world where the majority of the younger generation really doesn't go the extra mile, I was so blown away by her willingness to do just that. Highly highly recommend Ailley and Homewise plumbing!

Aron and his crew took down a ginormous and precarious rotting hemlock on a hilly part of my property. Like magic that behemoth came down in the best possible spot while my neighbour stood watching in awe from her deck (and probably ensuring it didn't land on her roof). The tree was cut into rounds as I requested and the mess cleaned up and chipped. Legendary comes highly recommended.

Installed new natural gas lines and tankless water heater, converted the propane fire place to natural gas, installed new barbecue and kitchen stove hook up. Repaired faulty fire place. Removed obsolete propane lines and hot water tanks.
Nick and his assistants turned up when they said they would, did the job they quoted for and charged what they estimated, except for a couple of items I added later and an unexpected repair. It has only been a week but so far we are very happy with the upgrades. The price compared favourably with other companies’ quotes.
I will be keeping Sooke Coastal Plumbings’ number on file for servicing in the future.
Excellent Service! The office manager was able to schedule the work without delay. Our technician was friendly and competent. They did our inspection 4 years ago, this time it was for a pump out. Will likely do business again with them for the next pump out in +/- 5 years.
Lovely stay for the night. I incidentally walked thru the men's room, (the main sign for the pool was on that door) and I discovered three chairs, and if memory recalls two stalls and a urinal, and presumably a sink. I back tracked through the woman's area, which is a short hallway, and a locked door to a maintenance room - no chairs, no rest room. So, for the men out there, enjoy the luxury of World Hotels Luxury, and if you wonder why your lady is not sure what the deal is, its because its a hallway with non of the accoutrements at her behest. She probably got the baby in her hands as well. Enjoy the urinal.
I was travelling through Sooke and stopped here for a car wash. I used the wand bay and it worked great. I paid by credit card and stopped when the machine displayed that I had used up $4.00 worth. When I returned home, my CC was charged $15.
I went to their website and it says "When using the wand bay, please make sure you press the red illuminated stop button once you are done washing. Pressing that button completes the transaction. Failure to press that button can result in a $15 charge on your card."
It would be useful to have the information by the machine where I paid. As a traveler it didn't occur to me or anyone else to read instruction on how to complete a car-wash transaction ahead of time.
It would be better if the machine would allow me to enter the amount I wish to purchase with my CC before the car wash. This is how their coin option works.
I'm disappointed at the lack of consideration for human usability and the opportunistic over charge. So... if you use the wand bay, pay by coins.
Updated: I changed their rating from two to four because the company responded to my email about the overcharge promptly and genuinely wants to rectify the problem. I give them four stars for being responsive to customer feedback. I do like their wand bay facility.
