I purchased my new AC unit from Plus One in April of 2026. My AC was not keeping up at all in my old home. The technician, Justin, came out immediately, and he spent a few hours analyzing all my air flow and AC issues. He and his team made great recommendations to fix my problems, and the new unit really helped keep my home cooler along with adding a new vent in my living room. On a separate call, they came out immediately again, and they found that an animal had ripped holes in my duct work to get to cooler air, and they fixed it the same day. I have now been back twice since then and can confidently say this is the best nail salon I’ve been to in Birmingham! My gel polish lasts SO long and does not chip at all. The attention to detail on the manicure and pedicure were amazing. I’ve really never been someone with a go to nail salon but now I’m going to start because I’m so impressed by charm!

When our appointment concludes, my hair looks gorgeous and I feel beautiful. That’s a pretty fine feeling, it’s priceless. And, Sumetri is a delightful person to spend time with !

I have always left his chair feeling more confident and beautiful, and get tons of compliments of how healthy and beautiful my hair is - from my natural styles, to my hair color, my silk presses, to my crafted wigs - he’s amazing at it all.

Gwyn did a phenomenal job on my hair: color, cut, treatment: pure perfection. What made it even more impressive, she was correcting a botched color job of The Only Gray who has branded himself as “ celebrity stylist” In Birmingham and couldn’t deliver.

Seems like sometimes men don’t take the time to pamper themselves. This was THAT experience. From walking in and sitting down in the chair to getting up and leaving everything was great. The steam, the hot towel, the shave! I walked out of there feeling a ten!
Took an elderly, blind friend there, as he can no longer drive. He has gone there for years and is very comfortable going to his usual place. One female barber, quick service, regular clients, I think. Nice change from the impersonal chains.

Very polite staff. They’re incredibly intentional with how they handle your hands/feet and never rough. I have gotten gelx with Emily the past few times I have been and they last 5 weeks. The quality and durability is definitely worth the price I paid of $70.
Don't get me wrong. They definitely took good care of my feet. I got a CBD gel pedicure and it was truly a luxurious experience. My feet felt so relieved afterwards. My only reason for not giving the 5 stars is because the staff was not as friendly as I expected. It seems like the clients coming in were more welcoming than the actual people who work there. I made it a point to be friendly, patient and of course, express gratitude because this is considered customer service and from working in it for many years, I know it gets daunting. However, it just wasn't the most friendly nail experience compared to other salons I've been to.

This is a location with a number of individual stylists that you book through apps. I only have experience with one. Marlene does fantastic short cuts. She is booked on Vagaro. It isn't easy to find someone who knows how and takes the time to do a really good short cut on women. The space is very pleasant and convenient to reach. Very Reasonable price point.
Got my lashes done for the first time Saturday, and they were so sweet! My only complaint is that I've followed the care instructions and 2 days later my lash clusters are already coming off!

Had two amazing birthday treatments. Ms. Chaundra did me right! Her facial treatments are magical.Get the signature facial. Alexis is awesome too, book her for the body scrub or the dry brush. Ms. Chaundra not only gets your skin together but, she also analyzes your skin and educates how to maintain your glow. I will definitely be back sooner than later for the royal treatments again. ?✨️

Brandon helped us with diagnosing an issue with our tankless hot water heater and other issues that was affecting the temperature. He replaced our pressure gauge (which was in a very hard part of the house to get to), as well as a mixing gauge that was affecting our temperature of hot water in the tub. He is super polite, experienced, efficient, and great with explaining what the situation was and hot to fix. The fees for the services/parts were very reasonable and I am thankful to have Superior for our plumbing needs!

Dr. Duca has been a game changer in treating chronic migraines I’ve had for years. He traced it back to neck issues, and after three weeks of treatment, I’m essentially headache free. Would definitely recommend him even if you’ve already tried multiple other doctors to no avail.

My 15 week old puppy developed a decreased appetite and had a few episodes of vomiting over night. I called the clinic as soon as they opened and they got me in that morning with Dr. Beth Cobb. My dog vomited all over my car on the drive there, the staff was so kind, got me cleaning supplies and held my dog while I quickly cleaned out my car. They got us back right away and did multiple tests. The tech, Summer, was so good with my puppy and very knowledgeable. Dr. Cobb was absolutely amazing, thorough and made me feel like family! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because the Standifer Animal Clinic is the best!
