“We contracted with Bay Breeze to resolve a red tag notice from VNG on a gas line. We originally reached out to a few companies requesting quotes. Through the quote request process, we experienced many different outcome including no response to request, absurdly high costs, poor communication, days waiting for responses when we had a 1 week correction period. Ultimately we narrowed our selection down to two companies with good communication. We chose Baybreeze because of the timely response, fair pricing and willingness to HANDLE and RESOLVE all details of the project. In addition Bay Breeze was willing to share their expertise and offer different options for resolving our issue. We ended up replacing the entire gas line from the meter to the furnace and water heater and installing shutoff valves at each appliance. Estimate was provided verbally during first conversation along with a full explanation of the process. Estimate covered parts, labor, permit and follow up city inspection and assurance all code requirement would be met.

Our project did change slightly from what we originally believed would happen (no fault of the contractor). We hit an unexpected issue along the way (older home). The work crew quickly came up with a fix, picked up extra supplies and continued with an alternate installation plan which we were in agreement with. There was a slight delay with the City inspector coming out- not the fault of the contractor. Work passed inspection, expectations were met/exceeded, gas was restored as promised. In the end no surprise charges, no hassle for payment. Just professional job, good communication, quality work. Of note- contractor did not ask for any form of payment up front. During the estimate I was informed payment would only be due once the job was completed and you pay directly from the estimate (invoice isn’t sent). Once the job was completed, I reached out to resolve payment. Several options available but we ended up using Zelle.

Handled the hassles so we didn’t have to. Recommend and would use again in the future.“
