“Update: The vet returned my call on Tuesday and took care of everything. I am satisfied now.The vet is very hard to get a hold of after seeing her for the first time when she informed us our indoor cat has fleas. The vet suggested we put her on Next guard Combo and informed us that she might need something to help with itchy spots and told us to call if she is still scratching a lot after the application.Called on a Thursday left a message. Called on the following Friday and spoke with someone who said they would call the vet to ask about it. Meanwhile, my cat is in discomfort. It is odd that there is only one vet at this practice who is not available at all on Thursdays and is not onsite on a Friday. Maybe I will hear from them on Monday. if not, I might need to find a different vet.“
“I have not had a lot of experience with vets taking care of my tropical birds. When I did have a serious problem with my birds Dr. Bignall was always availabe and highly concerned for there health. I don't know what I would do with out such a wonderful veterinarian. One life couldn't be saved the other probably would of died without his help. God bless him and you couldn't get a more caring and concerned Dr. for your precious little creature.“

“I took in a fecal sample for a test. The two person team was efficient. My observation was that they did not greet me or acknowledge me when I stood at the booth where they were working. When they finally acknowledged my presence they were curt, and did not greet me or smile once during the whole ten minutes of my stay. I know that it’s more important to be efficient than nice, still… it made me feel unwelcome and that it was a big bother to be pleasant. I hope this comment is helpful.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Fairfax Veterinary Hospital. This past Monday, after finding out that my dog has hepatitis and that she would have to be on a month long regimen of antibiotics, Zoe has called at least once a day to make sure Simone was doing ok. I know that we are not the only patients of the practice, but they sure do make you feel like you are their most important client. It’s evident that they care about your fur babies as much as you do, which means everything, especially when you’re feeling so helpless and want to do everything in your power to make sure they get better.Thank you to Dr. Randivand, Zoe and the rest of the staff for making this scary journey a little more bearable. “My family take 2 of there dogs twice a week. The dogs love going each week and sometimes we do overnight boarding and they do an excellent job of taking care of them. I take them over twice a week and they come out to the car and get the dogs. The doctor was wonderful, kind, attentive, and not an alarmist, as we have found most vets to be in this area! Our dog was very comfortable there and honestly they are the best judge. “I don’t leave reviews often but I cannot emphasize what a wonderful experience this vet is. Wendy, at the front desk, is absolutely delightful and cares deeply for each animal that enters that place. The vet, Dr. Caldwell, is high energy, deeply knowledgeable, and “brings you along for the ride.” I’ve been dealing with a very sick rescue (my absolute baby) and they have handled each situation with practicality, expertise, and tender care. If you are thinking about joining this vet or switching… do it. Cannot recommend enough!“
