“I’ve been using On the Go Fitness about a year now and I have to say the team is awesome! I’ve had personal trainers off and on for over two decades. I was in the military and needed one to keep me maxing my PT scores. (...because the scores DO matter no matter what you want to believe.) While many things play into your success in the military, I argue that “excellent” performance on your PT tests does a lot psychologically to show you are ready for the challenges of leadership. You don’t need to be a gym rat to be a good leader. You just need to show up once a year, and effortlessly max what is expected of you. And, this is where making an investment in yourself by having an outstanding personal trainer pays dividends in promotional opportunities.I’ve also used personal trainers to just help me keep myself fit to enjoy the games of life. Whether it is snowboarding, windsurfing, running in fun OCRs, climbing with your friends in the gym, or just trying something new. When you are healthy and fit, you get to play more. You get to see what is beyond your sofa and refrigerator. You get to stop feeling tired, and get to laugh and enjoy life more.I could go to the gym and push weights. I’m smart enough to know what I’m doing on my own and not get hurt. TBH, most people don’t. I’ve spent years in the gyms and I see you, and I’m cringing because I know you are going to be hurting at some point. Or you are just going to walk away because you feel intimidated by those people that are going to hurt themselves at some point. A trainer, these trainers in particular, are going to make sure that never happens.Don’t think of personal trainers as luxuries. I’m not rich. I drive old cars, and use duct tape in most of my household repairs. Think of personal trainers as a necessity in helping you live the best life you can. After all, there are no “do overs” with life. When that big white light comes, will you be saying “I wish I learned to ski, or I wish I could have played with my grandkids more”? Being physically healthy and fit will not only help you live longer, but it will help you live better. The research and science is there. This is not an infomercial, it is reality. And, the best part… it doesn’t matter how old you are, how tired you are, or how broken you are. If you are 80, you will keep your independence. If you are 50 and going through menopause, it will help you manage that madness. If you are 40 and now feeling the pain of your younger years of incorrectly pumping iron or doing things you shouldn’t have they will help you overcome those “hangovers”. And if you are 20, you will learn the true way of fitness and conditioning to keep you in the best health as you manage the challenges life will throw at you.You can try and “duct tape” your health, but odds are not in your favor. Leave that for your HVAC or cracked window. Get a trainer. Invest in yourself and the life you want to live. Dave and his team will ensure your investment has the highest and most enduring in lifelong returns.“

“I. LOVE. THIS. GYM. If you're thinking about starting (or re-starting) an exercise program, Foundation Fitness is *life-changing*. There is a reason why their reviews are extraordinary; no matter where you are in your fitness journey, no gym has more heart or cares more. I've struggled with diet and exercise my whole life; my weight has fluctuated an embarrassing amount. When I first joined, I got winded climbing a flight of stairs. I was so deeply unhappy, and so ashamed of my fitness level that the whole prospect of setting foot in a gym was intimidating. I hated the thought of joining one of those large chain-gyms; I knew I needed more accountability. But Foundation Fitness is a small, community-oriented fitness center with a SPECTACULAR, non-judgmental team that will push and inspire you. Each of their trainers offers their own arena of expertise - Collin is exceptional in mobility and functional fitness, Amber will give you the best HIIT workout of your life, Angelo builds award-winning power-lifters, and Steven is a *phenomenal* weight-lifting/body sculpting coach. Whenever I show up, I feel welcomed, seen, and encouraged. (It's sort of like my inner high school nerd is hanging out with all the jocks, and they're being really nice to me??) The environment is always fun, even during the most grueling workouts. Some days we'll listen to 70s rock music, other times it might be DJ mixes or top hits. I've never met another gym-goer I didn't like; everyone is great. The aspect I love the very most about this gym is that I see clients of every age, body type, race, ethnicity, and ability; Foundation Fitness doesn't just preach community - they live it. Each of the trainers is friendly and fun, but also a consummate professional. The level of engagement and attentiveness I receive during my workouts is unsurpassed by any trainer I've ever had before, and I can see and feel the results. The trainers help build the foundation and give you the tools to continue your fitness outside of the gym. Nutrition coaching is included, as is an app you can link to MyFitnessPal, Apple Watch, Garmin, etc. I'll add that I did some price shopping in the area before I joined Foundation Fitness, and I found their rates to be extremely competitive, if not better than most. In terms of the facility itself, it's small - a couple of treadmills and other cardio machines, four separate rack stations, and all the standard training equipment (free weights, kettlebells, etc.). You're expected to arrive early and do at least 30 minutes of warm-up and stretching before your session. There isn't a locker room here (although there are bathrooms in the building), so this works best if you're able to shower/change at home. Also, the gym is intended for group or one-on-one training sessions; while you can technically show up and do cardio on your own, this isn't like standard gyms where you can just come and do weights whenever. If you're even considering joining a gym or working with a trainer, you won't find a better fit - I promise you. In about 3 months (with some hard work in and outside of the gym), I lost approx. 25 lbs and 10% of my body fat while building muscle. The compliments are nice, having clothes fit *so* much better is great, but nothing beats how I feel - happier, stronger, and hopeful. Joining Foundation First is one of the best things I've ever done for myself - ever.“

“Breathe is a great studio offering a wide variety of classes with small class sizes ( I think the max is 15). The instructors are wonderful and impart a great love and understanding of their practice . I always leave class feeling uplifted. Recently I've been attending Darina's yamuna body rolling class and I love it - my body feels stronger and more grounded in just a few weeks of attending class. Breathe provides a wonderful community where members are friendly, welcoming, and fun to be around.“

“Tony Malave is an excellent personal trainer. He makes working out a fun, positive experience--it never seems like a chore. I have worked out with him for a number of years and I have always been happy with my sessions. Tony is extremely personable and is always mixing up my workouts so I don't feel as though I am doing the same exercises each time. He can get pretty creative sometimes. Personal training is perfect for me because once I put it down on my calendar, it is an appointment that I feel like I have to keep. I feel like I am working out with a friend 1 or 2 times per week and I would highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a personal trainer!“

“After my 3 months training with Lucas I am convinced that PW is the most effective and efficient muscle training there is. I was able to built considerably more strength than with any other approach. 20 minutes is all it takes, no hours long huffing and puffing! I am grateful to Lucas and Tracy for teaching me the discipline of slow motion weight lifting. I am determined to apply it to future workouts on my own. Not sure though, how much success I'll have without the trainers input and motivation.“

“I've owed a review for this place for a while. All of the coaches bring a lot of energy and positivity. If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere to absolutely crush your health and fitness goals, this is the perfect place ? On a more personal note, two years ago I was in a motorcycle crash and messed up my leg pretty bad. In coming into this gym, the coaches have helped me regain strength and mobility back. I'm able to do weighted lunges, jumping squats, etc. Considering their holistic approach of quick 30 min workouts and a truly in-depth approach to both diet and supplementation, all you need to bring to the door is a desire to change your life. I can not speak highly enough of Fit Body Boot Camp. To anyone reading this, I hope to see you soon!“
