“My 6-month-old puppy has been struggling with a respiratory infection, and after two disappointing experiences at other clinics, I was looking for a second opinion. From the moment I called Prince William Animal Hospital, I was impressed. The front desk staff listened to my concerns, validated how worried I was about my puppy, and was able to get us in the same day.
My visit was great from start to finish. Every staff member we encountered (Ashtyn, Gillian, Dawn, Brooke, Dezirae, and Dr. Gordon) introduced themselves to both me and my puppy. It may seem like a small gesture, but after noticing the lack of that personal touch at other clinics, it really stood out. They also interacted with my pup, gave him tons of snuggles, and seemed genuinely happy to meet him. He is a 6-month-old giant-breed puppy and is objectively pretty adorable, so it was surprising when staff barely acknowledged him at other clinics. At Prince William Animal Hospital, I immediately felt like they saw him as a pet and family member, not just another patient on the schedule.
Ashtyn spent a ton of time going over my puppy’s history and listening to all of my concerns, and Dr. Gordon ultimately mapped out a comprehensive plan to get him back to 100%. I left feeling grateful that we finally had a clear path forward.
After visiting multiple veterinary clinics in the area, I was also pleasantly surprised by how reasonable Prince William Animal Hospital’s pricing was. I especially appreciated the new-client goody bag! Again, it may seem like a small thing, but it made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. At other clinics, I’ve felt like taking on a new patient was an inconvenience, but the experience with PWAH could not have been more different.
