What Mike did went far beyond simply addressing those issues: he helped build a better understanding between me and my dog. Our relationship has completely transformed and we understand each other so much better now.<br><br>Over the 12 weeks we worked together (once a week), Mike provided a variety of training techniques and practical tips that made a huge difference in my dog’s behavior, obedience, and confidence. The training was real-world practice. We spent time at the Reston Town Center, surrounded by people and other dogs, applying everything in a real-life setting. I never imagined my dog could calmly sit or lie down in a busy store full of distractions, but that’s exactly what we achieved by week three. As for her dog reactivity, I can’t believe the difference! She’s always been a high-energy dog, so seeing her stay calm even when other dogs are barking or reacting is absolutely incredible.<br><br>Glad, who handled scheduling, was also fantastic. She was so accommodating and flexible whenever something unavoidable came up. The entire experience felt personal, thoughtful, and focused on real results.<br><br>If you’re looking for a dog trainer who not only knows what they’re doing but genuinely cares about helping you and your dog build a stronger bond, I can’t recommend Mike enough.”

“Brought our five year old super anxious golden doodle Saint for a very overdue grooming appointment. They were so attentive and took excellent care of Saint. We were concerned that Saint would be a difficult client for them and may end up looking rough because he was very matted and overgrown. We were blown away with how well Saint looked after his appointment. No cuts, scrapes or bald patches. He looked adorable and we will definitely be coming back for all of his future grooming needs and not wait so long either. I highly recommend Mr. Woof dog care especially if you have concerns with an anxious dog. Thank you so much to the whole team for how well you treated Saint.”

They were very accommodating, and had a schedule laid out to take care of her and take her on walks.<br>They were understanding of her nervousness, especially separation anxiety. “Amazing experience I got my two boys groomed. They are senior dogs and have some arthritis in the back legs and some skin issues. She worked with and bathed them with a special shampoo for skin allergy. Also got recommended products for skin allergies and possible different diets for allergy sensitive dogs. She sent me pictures through out and updated me with anything I needed to know. Quick to responded and very timely. I recommend Anyone taking their time to do research on a good groomer to definitely take you dogs here. I couldn’t have had a better experience.”
“We brought our Shih Tzu puppy Beignet to ABWC for puppy preschool and kindergarten and we couldn’t be happier! The training went so far beyond simply potty training or socializing our puppy. We learned about dog body language, different strategies for training that might work better for her and a variety of tools, tips, and tricks that made having a puppy easier than I ever thought it could be. Christine, Xenia, and Sidney were so kind and helpful and thoughtfully explained everything in every class. I would recommend them to anyone!”
“Montrose Pet Hotel is the best! Wonderful facility, very clean, and super quick drop off and pick up! I boarded my dog for the weekend and she came back very happy! Since then I've done the doggy day care as well, and they are always great at accommodating my dog at the last minute. Love this place!”
“The grooming department is excellent. I have never disliked a hair cut my dog has gotten here. Kathy is super friendly and tries to get to know your dog. As far as Veterinary care, it's great, but seems a bit expensive to me compared to some other places. I toured the boarding facility today and I will just say I highly recommend taking a tour of ANY boarding facility prior to leaving your dog overnight. While the employee who gave the tour could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable, this is not a place I would board my dog based on the look and feel of the boarding facilities. It was not bright, cheery, happy, or fun looking whatsoever. The opposite.”
