“My dog Lilac loves going to the vet. In fact she has taken me there on walks. During Lilac's last yearly check up she didn't realize that she got two shots and had blood drawn. The doctors also find practical solutions if a problem arises. For example they suggested Zyrtec for her allergies instead of pushing something expensive.“

“After many failed attempts, I have finally found the grooming shop of my dreams! From minute one of entering the shop I could tell I had found a gem. It smelt good, all the dogs getting dropped off looked comfortable instead of scared, and most of all it was very clean! Located in the cutest community, the Pawsh Dog wash lived up to all the other phenomenal reviews. I have a 13 year old Lhasa apso and they made her look better then I ever imagined. It is a great set up, because when I dropped her off for grooming I brought my two other dogs to use their self serve baths. They provide great quality soap, conditioner, brushes and my helped get me set up right away. The staff was all so friendly, and the owner was so kind and hands on with everything. I’m a very happy dog mom with 3 very clean pups!“

“I am so happy I found this place for my babies! We previously used PetSmart in Fairfax Lakes and had a great groomer there, though the prices were high. Unfortunately, the management was repeatedly rude and disrespectful toward both customers and staff — one too many times for me. Not only did I find an excellent groomer for my babies, but also a true home where they feel welcome and loved. My dogs don’t hit the brakes when we arrive — instead, they run up the stairs like it’s the best thing ever! They go on Fridays, which is set aside for the little guys, and they’re free to wander around and play with their new friends. The staff is always kind and respectful to both owners and pets. “If I could give Gabi and the DC Petropolis team a million stars I would! DC Petropolis is seriously amazing and special. My pup Ziggy first came in for 4 socialization sessions to get used to the environment of the grooming salon. This is a very unique policy of Gabi’s but it has been wonderful for Ziggy who now feels comfortable and even excited going to the groomer’s. Gabi made me and Ziggy feel so comfortable and welcome from our very first meeting. I trust her completely with my pup because I know she and her team genuinely care for and love all of their clients. “Dudes Dogs bent over backwards for us! We had an emergency and had to board our dog who had a small wound which she licked into a larger wound at Dudes Dogs due to being away from home. They called us and we gave them permission to take her to our vet. The owner (constant contact with me with text and photos) came and picked her up and waited with our sweet dog as she got some antibiotics. Dudes Dog team were so caring and throughly took care of our dog as we said our goodbye to a dear friend. Dudes Dogs is an amazing place that you can trust your furry family member is in good hands all the time. xoxox“

“I really appreciate cat-only clinics — the staff are always so attuned to feline needs and provide wonderful care. I’ve been taking my cat to NOVA Cat Clinic for three years and highly recommend it to other cat parents. The vets and techs are sensitive to my cat’s preferences, gentle during exams, and take time to explain everything clearly. When my cat shows signs of stress, they never push; instead, they suggest coming back another day for bloodwork if needed, which makes visits much more comfortable for all of us. The clinic itself is calm, clean, and clearly designed with cats’ comfort in mind. I’m so grateful to have such a compassionate and knowledgeable team caring for my cat.“

“I've been bringing my dog, Bixby, to Dogtopia of Falls Church since he was six months old for socialization and to work out his puppy energy. He's now two years old and still enjoying every minute he's there. He definitely has mellowed-out but, once he's in Dogtopia's lobby, his puppy energy returns because of the enthusiastic greeting he gets from the coaches and staff. “Amazing experience I got my two boys groomed. They are senior dogs and have some arthritis in the back legs and some skin issues. She worked with and bathed them with a special shampoo for skin allergy. Also got recommended products for skin allergies and possible different diets for allergy sensitive dogs. She sent me pictures through out and updated me with anything I needed to know. Quick to responded and very timely. The staff rotates through the cats to let them out individually to explore, play, and get extra attention throughout the day.
