I had an excellent experience at Paw Spa. My 5 year old, female, bichon frise is a rescue and I got her about 7 months ago. Due to her anxiety, I’ve been having trouble grooming her on my own and she developed mats. She went to a groomer once, at Petsmart, just got for a bathe, and I don’t think it was the best experience for her. At Paw Spa, Gabrielle, the owner, was very patient with her and though I left her in a nervous state, when I arrived she looked relaxed and happy to see me. For my fellow cat owners- I never thought of it until somebody made the suggestion but coming here to get my cat’s nails trimmed has been a game changer. Nail trims were previously a week long ordeal in our house (trying every trick and gadget out there) so coming here has been the best $27 I’ve ever spent. We are usually in and out under 10min and Gabriella is so good with my cat. I can hear her talking to her as she works and they do such a good job. With their nail trim we are usually good for about 5-6wks so it’s really been helpful. Can’t recommend them enough!
If I could give more stars, I absolutely would! I called around 6:10 PM, knowing they closed at 7, and asked if they could possibly squeeze my cat in for a nail trim and ear cleaning. They kindly said yes, and when I arrived, they took him in right away and had everything done within 10 minutes.
What really stood out to me was how gentle and patient they were with him. As a cat mom, I know how sensitive and shy cats can be, especially in unfamiliar environments. Usually, grooming appointments are very stressful for him, but this experience was completely different.
