Dr. Sawula is very kind and thorough. She performed a dental on my dog who had a broken tooth extracted and she ensured all his teeth were treated. I was returned a happy healthy dog!
Pricing is very fair and clearly itemized for services performed. I don’t believe you will find better service or price in SLC.“

“Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue (rmdr.org) has been grateful for Dr. Lynette Sakellariou, DVM and her team since Kona and Bailey had their first wellness visits in 2023. One of our trusted fosters introduced us to Neighborhood Veterinary Care, and we’ve relied on them ever since to care for our dachshunds and doxie mixes coming from a wide range of backgrounds—many of whom arrive in need of rehabilitative medical care before finding their forever homes. Dr. Lynette and her staff have always treated our rescue dogs (and our fosters!) with compassion, professionalism, and respect. The office runs efficiently, appointments are handled with care, and the communication is excellent—from the front desk staff to the vet techs who are really good at remembering which dog is which (no small feat when they all have names like “DeeDee” and “Samwise” who is now named “River”--his adopted mom and dad still take him to see Dr. Lynette.) We especially appreciate their gentle approach—like offering dental cleanings that don’t require sedation when possible—and the way they help anxious dogs (and humans) feel more comfortable. Their kindness is an essential part of what makes this clinic stand out. As a foster-based rescue, we’ve loved having a veterinary clinic we trust right in the neighborhood. “3 months ago, we called Brickyard Animal hospital in crisis. Our dog had been diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma and needed her spleen removed immediately. Dr. Allen accommodated our schedule and saved her life. When she got home, I noticed that the staff had trimmed her nails. I don’t know why but that act of kindness brought my wife and I to tears. We didn’t ask for it. They didn’t charge us. And the gesture communicated so much.

The doctor let us know that we hadn’t saved her, only extended her life by 3 months. Maybe up to 6 if we were lucky. Today we let her go, 3 months almost to the day. And as much as I hate this, I have so much gratitude for these people who gave us 3 more months to grieve and to be with our pup. Thank you thank you so much.
