I got calls from Dr. Lee at 9pm after her full day explaining everything in detail and listening to all of my concerns. They sent updates, videos and shared tears with me throughout his battle. Dr. Lee came in on her day off with a burger and fries for him when we had to finally say goodbye. Loosing Louie was terrible but this team showed so much care and support that I never worried about him in their hands. I cannot reccomend them enough. “3 months ago, we called Brickyard Animal hospital in crisis. Our dog had been diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma and needed her spleen removed immediately. Dr. Allen accommodated our schedule and saved her life. When she got home, I noticed that the staff had trimmed her nails. I don’t know why but that act of kindness brought my wife and I to tears. We didn’t ask for it. They didn’t charge us. And the gesture communicated so much.

The doctor let us know that we hadn’t saved her, only extended her life by 3 months. Maybe up to 6 if we were lucky. Today we let her go, 3 months almost to the day. And as much as I hate this, I have so much gratitude for these people who gave us 3 more months to grieve and to be with our pup. Thank you thank you so much. For your skill and your kindness and your genuine love. It showed through every step of the process.“

“We have a very large dog (140lbs so far). Some places seem very hesitant to see him. The doctor and staff here have been happy to care for him and have been very good, friendly and calm when working with him. They have offered helpful advice and helped us out with a few issues for him. Would love to see some expanded hours as we have had one emergency where we had to go elsewhere, but we will continue to take him here for his care when we can.“
