My Truffle swallowed a pebble while at the lake. I took her to my local Vet and they were unable to retrieve it , without cutting her wide open, so they send me to VetMed. Not only were they able to get me in, they waited for me to drive the 3 hrs to them! They were knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful and thorough. The had the instruments needed to retrieve the pebble without cutting on her. They took excellent care of my Truffle. They called and kept up with her to follow up on her condition. I would, without doubt, recommend this hospital to anyone!

Our kitty Abby had some serious GI issues and needed an endoscopy. Dr Watkins was able to do the procedure and removed a polyp from her GI tract. She also has some serious injuries to her esophagus because of ulcers. These healed up but formed scar tissue, causing Abby to not be able to keep food down. Dr Watkins put in a balloon esophageal tube and after 6 weeks of conditioning, Dr Watkins removed her tube and she can eat on her own. We were so impressed with the care Abby received. Dr Watkins was so very thorough in explaining everything to us, step by step, in ways that were easy to understand. After her procedures, Dr Watkins explained what he did and showed us the images of the procedures. Every time we contacted Vet Med, either in person or by phone, we were treated with compassion and professionalism by everyone. We drove 300 miles to be able to see Dr Watkins at Vet Med and we’re so glad we did.

Dr. Watkins and his staff has been so incredible helping my brothers dog Savvy who is like his child. They are skilled, sincere and have the biggest hearts. Thank you so much for all your kindness you have shown to my brother, family and especially his dog. Hopefully things will continue to get better for him. Abby johnson
