Two days later (it was not an emergency), he texted when he would be there, and showed up on time. He examined the situation, and provided estimates for the options we asked for. Then he removed the old one, and took care of the water drips. He did have to haul the tanks out & in over three sets of steps with a hand cart. He plumbed in new shut off valves, supported the exhaust flue, and added earthquake straps to get it up to code. “Wow, what a great experience! I had a problem with an external pipe that led to a French drain. The technicians hydro jetted, and ran a camera down the pipe. I wasn’t sure what to expect as the drain was there before we moved in. No surprise, but they found obstructions further down the pipe.
