“This is a review that I absolutely had to write! I was having difficulty with my eyeglass prescription from nine months ago, so I went searching for a local Optometrist who also works with individuals who have dry eye syndrome. I made an appointment with Dr. McPherson at Eyes on Westlake because of her five star rating. Oh goodness, were those ratings spot on. Dr. McPherson and her entire staff are wonderful. Every staff member (with a special shout out to Diana, Karina, and Isabelle) I encountered exceeded my expectations. The moment my husband and I walked through the door we were made to feel like family. Dr. McPherson gave me a very thorough eye exam, explained every aspect of the exam, and took all the time that I needed to answer every question I had. Never once did I feel rushed throughout the process. After my exam, Karina helped me select new eyeglass frames. She was excellent. It was like shopping with a friend who gives you honest advice while trying on frames. As a result, I love my new eyeglasses which are helping me see much better and look great. Dr. McPherson is currently treating me for dry eye syndrome and I am so happy that she has come to Westlake to practice. She is an outstanding Therapeutic Optometrist and her staff is stellar.“

“Good enough variety of frames. They accept almost all prescriptions and insurance.
More often than not, the glasses are delivered before the promised date.
Also went here for a minor repair of my glasses. Alex was extremely helpful and fixed them promptly without any charge. Thanks a ton!“

I came in very worried about a pvd in my right eye. Dr. Fincher did a thorough examination in both eyes gave me a new prescription and set my mind at ease. I cannot recommend this place enough!“

My 9-year-old son is learning to wear contacts, and Kim has been incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging with him throughout the process. She took extra time walking him through putting his contacts in step by step, never rushing him, and reassuring him when he got frustrated. She explained everything clearly and made sure he felt comfortable and confident.

The rest of the staff is just as friendly and helpful. They even noticed that my son’s glasses weren’t sitting quite right and fixed them quickly on the spot without us even having to ask. It’s little things like that that really stand out. Highly recommend this location!“

From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was professional, patient, and incredibly kind. My mom has dementia, and one of the team members immediately sat with her so she felt safe and calm. They took my parents back first, and when my mom needed extra help, multiple staff members stepped in without hesitation. They treated her with dignity and genuine respect.

After my mom finished, another staff member stayed with her again so I could complete my own appointment. They truly went above and beyond. As a full‑time caregiver, that kind of support means everything.
