Big thanks to the crew for helping keep our home comfortable and running right with the AC, furnace, and water heater. jack was thorough and friendly during the estimate for the furnace and AC, and he took plenty of time to explain our repair and replacement options in simple terms. The turnaround for the install was under a week, and the full furnace and AC installation was finished in just one day. The whole installation team was easy to work with, professional, and respectful. They walked us through the new system, explained the furnace setup and airflow, and cleaned up everything before leaving. We really appreciated the quick service, clear communication, and quality workmanship. Highly recommend for furnace repair, furnace replacement, and related HVAC service.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Lakeview Design Build on my kitchen & bathroom project. From the very beginning, Arie and the entire team took care of every single step with so much attention and dedication. Anytime a challenge came up, they did everything possible to solve it, always explaining every detail clearly and never moving forward without checking with me first.
They also supported me a lot on the design side—guiding me to the right people for materials, from cabinetry to flooring, and helping me build a beautiful mood board that we brought to life together. The result turned out amazing, and I couldn’t be happier.

StarTech’s people can help you as they did for us. They came to our home, surveyed the needs with us, quoted us a price, answered my calls for technical information vs. other’s products (e.g. the surge protectors), and completed the job yesterday. Through the process, Bart and Travis answered my questions and changes, Brad (electrician) quoted us the work price, and Patrick (electrician) and his assistant finished installations yesterday. Our whole home has a BTU Research ARC-TECH-PRO surge protector and power conditioner and our AC unit has a Ditek surge protector with a new contactor box. Also, Patrick also answered a couple of questions for me about breaker position for the BTU installation. These guys are great to work with! We are very pleased, and the cost was very reasonable (~half of the other quotes!).

If you have not noticed, Central Texas has plenty of electrical power issues in our residences, even if you have underground power distribution to your home. Home age is a factor, and the code adherence as new homes are built or majorly renovated is too. Weather has an impact on your electrical system integrity. Our latest surge was on a bright sunny day, March 2, 2026 caused by “vandalism”, Austin Energy reported. The “surge” took out an expensive ceiling fan. Electrical companies “circled the wagons” on our home (1st surge loss in 39 years here) quoting 5-digit $um to fix us, provide surge protection, and get us “to code” safely. Seriously!?!

Get at least 3 quotes, learn from each one about the work proposed vs. your “problem to solve, peace of mind, safety”. Ask questions, check out reviews of the service, and the product specs to be installed.

None of my friends, family and colleagues have known I have hair extensions unless I tell them... and when I do tell them, they check my hair because they don't believe me. I've been getting my hair cut by Carsyn at Great Clips in Lakeway for quite a while now, and I couldn't be happier. She's always professional, friendly, and—most importantly—consistent. Consistency is one of the most important qualities I look for in a stylist. Before moving to the Austin area, I had the same barber in Houston for over 20 years, and after trying several salons locally, I finally found that same level of reliability with Carsyn.
The Lakeway location is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The staff greets you as soon as you walk in, creating a great customer experience from the start. While the online check-in system doesn't allow you to select a specific stylist, I've found that requesting Carsyn when I arrive still lets me keep my place in line, which is a huge plus.
If you're looking for a dependable haircut and genuinely friendly service, I highly recommend Carsyn and the entire team at Great Clips in Lakeway!

Elegant Nails and Spa is by far the best nail salon I’ve been to in Austin. I’ve tried many salons over the past few years, and none have made me want to return like this one. I was in and out with a full set in under an hour, enjoyed a glass of wine, and the overall experience was excellent.
The pricing is extremely fair and transparent. When I called to make an appointment, I explained exactly what I wanted—an ombré full set with gel on top. They told me it would be $70, and when I checked out, my bill was exactly $70. No upselling, no surprises—just honest service.
David did an amazing job on my nails. The shape, length, and finish are all perfect. The service was efficient, professional, and exceeded my expectations. This is the only salon I’ll be going to from now on.

Found this place through recommendations on NextDoor. It's a bit tucked away the first time you go, but very convenient for those of us in Lakeway. Tiffany Chavez gave me exactly the 'men's professional' cut I was looking for at a reasonable price. The place is clean and pleasant to be in. I got in and out right on schedule. On their website they list each stylist's specialties.
Nina is full of energy and the shop feels happy. She listens to your needs. She'll give a little bonus hand massage while your hair is coloring. Her seaweed facials are the high quality Repechage products.
Kristi has been my colorist/stylist now for several years, and I just love her. She truly listens to what you want and miraculously makes it happen. She changes my blonde highlights and lowlights up with the seasons, so I always look fresh and walk out happy.

Rocky is the best massage therapist I've ever had . He's working on 3 different injuries and giving me the hope that I'll be able to use my body again like I used to .He's changed my life already after 4 sessions . He's been able to get deep into my injuries and areas of weakness/tension and unlock them to the extent that he's released emotional trauma and allowed me to be more open in life . So much so , that I met someone special right after I started my sessions w/ Rocky . I don't think it's a coincidence because I haven't had a connection like this in many years. Rocky has freed me up to move on with my life.
