“Dr. Shannon is the best veterinarian we have ever had. We have a whole zoo at our house, and we trust her with each of our furry family members.
We’ve had our pets go through highs and true lows, and each time we’ve been more than comfortable with their care in Dr. Shannon’s hands. You can tell she loves what she does as well as each of her patients. She goes above and beyond, will literally get on the floor with your pet to make them comfortable, and has kind and patient energy.

“I have a very energetic German Shepherd rescued during the pandemic who is quite uncooperative when it comes to exams (not aggressive, just strongly protests by wriggling free). Dr. Emshoff is super patient with her and has accurately diagnosed and successfully treated her for a UTI, resistant hookworms and an allergic reaction. My girl can be wild in the lobby, and the front desk employees all pitch in to help me without being asked. I appreciate their dedication to the care and well being of animals.“

“Brought my dog here the other day for her yearly checkup and rabies shot. My fiance made an appointment for 10 AM. We pulled in a couple of minutes before 10. I took the dog for a walk on the grass while my fiance checked us in. When I went in, they were already calling us into the exam room. This place is good about keeping on schedule. They are very good with the animals that are brought to them. My dog was dropped off at the Humane Society after she had been with the same family all her life. I think this made her nervous about leaving with the vet, but they were very kind to here. While we were there for her checkup, we asked them to trim her nails. Her nails were starting to look like they belonged in Nightmare on Elm Street. The appointment was very quick. To reward our dog for being good, we went to Dutch Brothers and got her a Pup Cup. I recommend this place for how well they stay on schedule and how well they treat the animals“

“I have been going to Dr. Young for over a decade specifically for his expertise in bulldogs, but he's no less great with others too. This week he neutered my 2.5 year old English Bulldog and also pulled 2 broken teeth at the same time to avoid a second surgery. My dog came home at the end of the day, sleepy but ok. The thing is, I see so many awful pictures of gaint bloody swollen messes after neuter surgeries, that I at least expected either his mouth or empty "purse" in back, to look bruised or bloody or maybe just have some dried blood or oozing. Which there was exactly zero of any of that, it's not even red. He uses a laser for the neuter surgery that helps with healing faster and less complications, and I'm 100% sold on that now!!! This office is quite far from me, so I have typically only used them for Bulldog/serious issues and taken my other dogs to a vet by me. The prices used to be comparable there, but now the place by me has gone up a lot. I do understand that all prices have gone up, but I got top notch work on my boy while the cost for the neuter PLUS 2 tooth extractions was still $400 less than the quote for neuter only at the other place. Needless to say ALL of my dogs will be going to Dr. Young from here on out as long as he will stay!!! He's got so much knowledge and experience, but also keeps up with new tech like laser assisted surgery, and that's the best kind of Dr you can get IMO.“

He's been under the weather and Yolda has called several times to follow up on Canelo's status. My poor guy has been under the weather for a week now.
