I have been going to Dr. Young for over a decade specifically for his expertise in bulldogs, but he's no less great with others too. This week he neutered my 2.5 year old English Bulldog and also pulled 2 broken teeth at the same time to avoid a second surgery. My dog came home at the end of the day, sleepy but ok. The thing is, I see so many awful pictures of gaint bloody swollen messes after neuter surgeries, that I at least expected either his mouth or empty "purse" in back, to look bruised or bloody or maybe just have some dried blood or oozing. I cannot thank Marbach Road Hospital enough for helping me care for a stray cat that had a huge abscess that turned into an open wound. First, they were very accommodating with my schedule since trapping a stray cat isn't an easy feat. They were also very kind and you can tell that although small, the staff is cohesive and works as a team or even a family. I am very thankful to Dr. Martin for being so helpful and kind. I didn't feel rushed like I do in other vet clinics. I was told that because it's a small clinic, they only take new patients on certain days. So make sure to not get offended when they aren't able to accommodate you as they're not in it for the money but to help pets and their people.
Dr Young and Dr Martin are amazing! Crystal and Iris the receptionist are responsive and very professional. They always try to help me with options to help with the costs of treatments. Both my french bulldogs have their share of typical breed issues and they take wonderful care of them. Love these people!
