“I have had my dog, Rose, at Revival several times, both for enrichment boarding as well as board and train and day training. My dog is a bit reactive and they have really taught me and my family ways to calmly re direct; they even kept her at the check in and helped her greet others appropriately. The team is creative and fun to work with. The team there is without a doubt excellent. They are kind, caring, and really know what they are doing. In home lessons come with some of the packages and I was so impressed with the trainers that have taught us in our home in particular.“

My girl never gets anxious about coming it’s actually the exact opposite she is usually excited with tail wagging when we go.

“I have been calling to find a vet in the area and it has been excruciatingly painful speaking with staff trying to get a quote. I just called this office and spoke with Jared and he was extremely pleasant and polite and it was the easiest quote that I’ve gotten from any clinic I think ever so I really really appreciate that and because of that I will probably go into this clinic. When our family was on vacation, we knew JJ was having even more fun on his vacation here. JJ loved the staff as well as his fury friends.

“We have a pit bull mixed breed dog acquired from a local shelter. The shelter, knowing our dog very well, suggested Yuppie Dog for boarding. Mary was very good evaluating him for daycare and boarding. She impressed me as being very knowledgeable about dog behavior. Long story short, we boarded him for several days and he came home happy and not at all stressed, unlike our experiences with other dogs at other kennels. The dog will tell you that he had a bad or stressful experience, and in this case, he had a good experience. I absolutely recommend Yuppie Dog.

Update (May 9, 2026)! Kelso and Penny were both boarded for over 2 weeks. Kelso, our Harvey rescue pit mix, absolutely LOVES YP. He got one-on-one play time since he is reactive to many other dogs, and he was much calmer when we got him back. They really know how to handle him!

Penny, our 13 yo Westie, went to small dog playtime and also loves the experience. She had an unfortunate encounter with a stinging insect (we think) and YP immediately contacted me about it. They got my consent to treat her with OTC meds, or contact her vet if needed. She also got baths. She was clean and tidy, and her boo-boo was under control when we got her back. It is inevitable that there will be occasional encounters with stinging insects in Houston whether at home or at the kennel. YP's Mary was so caring and concerned about her welfare, and I was so grateful for her care of Penny.

Mary has brought other things to my attention re Kelso in the past; she is observant and communicative about our dogs. I love that she is a big part of the care that YP gives our dogs! The staff that handles, plays with and bathes our dogs are just as friendly and caring.

Yuppie Dog has been our choice for years and we will continue to bring our dogs to them or boarding, baths, training (especially), and other services. YP is the best!“

“Montreal worked with our puppy for three weeks and we see lots of improvement in our walks and just overall she seems calmer. It is wonderful to take our puppy on walks without having my shoulders jerked out of socket every time she sees a squirrel or another animal. We have a long way to go regarding recall/come but we are working on it and seem to be on the right path now. Everyone is happy?“

“Yesterday I took my dog for the temperament test day. The staff were so kind. Joana soo extra time to reassure me and make sure I was done crying (lol) before I left. They called several times throughout the day to update me. Zeus was rescued off the street and he has a lot of energy (friendly but wild) so I was nervous. He completed a full day with no issues. Their manager followed up with me at the end to give any and all recommendations and I also received a report card with pictures of Zeus. It was really nice to be able to log on and see him throughout the day. He went right to sleep on the way home and when we got home. Thank you so much! Zeus can’t wait to come back????

“I took my dog here for training and he turened out amazing he understands basic commands and even more advanced commands. The staff is always friendly and amazing with the dogs. I also bring my other dog here everything we travel and I’m always worried free because I know she’s in great hands! One thing I love about love for dogs that’s other boarding places don’t have is the communication. The updates they send with videos and photos keeps me calm to know my babies are doing great !“

“Never had this done before so i dont have a barometer but experience was pleasant, did a great job. Our dog was very often in hyper mode with lots and lots of bad habits. She is a puppy so we know that she will have some issues for a couple of years but now she is very manageable and is growing into the right direction.
