“Shyenne McCowan is definitely a very excellent dog trainer. She solved all the problems my dog Sweetie has. My dog used to be reactive to vacuum cleaner, microwave and hair dryer. After this training class, she is pretty relaxed with all those items now. The most important thing is that Sweetie can walk by my side and follow my steps during current dog walkings. She taught me a lot of methods to train my dog and they are all very useful for me. I really love her and we have built a good relationship during the last two months. I really recommend her for the professional ability and the kind attitude.“

“Sydney did an amazing job grooming my dog, Bowie! He came out looking absolutely adorable with the cutest teddy bear cut. His face was perfectly shaped, his coat was soft and fluffy, and he smelled wonderful. You can tell Sydney takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about the pets she grooms.

Bowie looked happy, comfortable, and so handsome when I picked him up. The attention to detail was incredible, and I couldn’t stop smiling when I saw him. Thank you, Sydney, for always taking such great care of my baby!

“While in town for a few months, Our toy schnauzer, Zoey became very docile and distant one evening. When she stayed curled up on a blanket in a shower all night, we knew something was wrong. We called Rice Village Animal Hospital, not knowing one vet from another in the Houston area. We had an appointment within an hour. Upon arrival our pup was seen promptly, diagnosed and treated along with meds and we were on our way home. The staff and doctor were very caring, compassionate and professional. All in all, a very successful and pleasant experience. We are grateful for the service and would not hesitate to return if any additional care is needed in the future.“

“I brought in my little doggie after she started bleeding from one of her nails.

The staff at Tanglewood Animal Hospital did not only welcome me warmly, but they also were efficient in getting my fur baby the help she needed. They asked me for vaccination information and of course I did not have it on me, so I gave them the name of our primary vet. They quickly contacted my vet and asked for the info to be sent over.

My doggie was treated with care and quickly patched up, and at a reasonable price, considering this was an emergency.

But wait, there is more! I received a very kind card from them and the whole team at Tanglewood Animal Hospital signed it. This made me feel valued and appreciated.

I will be taking my little dog back to Tanglewood Animal Hospital from now on.

What I have encountered in the past is that the doctor is very nice, but the front desk staff lacks personal service skills and empathy.

At Tanglewood Animal Hospital I experienced a very empathetic doctor, but also the vet tech, and the front desk staff were kind and supportive.

“Outstanding staff and doctors! I’d just gotten to town with a new cat who immediately developed diarrhea. Even though I’d never been here before, the staff was able to get her in to be seen almost immediately! The facility was very clean and staff were very welcoming and friendly. They even got my cats records transferred from out of town right then!!

The doctors and assistants were very kind and patient with my girl, and took the time to explain what was wrong and answered all my questions. I left with medicine and a swag bag welcoming us to town. Top notch all the way.

“Let me tell you a tale about Tail to Tail!! They have shown incredible patience with my foster dog, Pico, and such dedication to helping my partner and I get him ready for his forever home. Prior to Pico going, he was reactive to EVERYTHING. But Tail to Tail gave us the tools to help him be a calm, confident and loving dog. He was always a sweet boy but now can let that show in every setting. It has truly changed our household and Oscar (our cat) is the most grateful!! Their monthly group classes are also a great way to keep us accountable which is arguably the hardest part. We cannot rate them highly enough. Also, if anyone is interested in adopting Pico, please apply at Sauver Des Chiens, he is incredibly well trained <3“

“I recently took my senior dog to the vet and had a very positive experience. Despite having several people ahead of me, I was seen fairly quickly, which I truly appreciated because I had to go back to work in that morning.
Jose is the person I usually request, and I am extremely grateful for the care he gives my little one. He is compassionate, patient, and always takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly. I feel especially comfortable because he explains everything to me in Spanish, which helps me fully understand my dog’s condition and feel much more at ease.

I would also like to acknowledge the other veterinarian who also saw my dog. Although I don’t remember his name, he was kind and attentive, and I appreciate the care he provided during our visit.

This visit was especially emotional for me. My dog suffered a head injury last year and hasn’t been the same since. During this appointment, my dog was carefully examined and after reviewing her previous X-rays, she was diagnose with progressive degenerative arthritis in her spine. While X-rays had been done before, this was the first time I truly felt informed and fully understood her condition.

Receiving this diagnosis was heartbreaking, knowing my dog was in pain. However, the care and compassion shown made such a difficult moment easier. We did additional exams, and medications were prescribed to help manage her pain, which made a real difference.
Jose reminded me that the most important thing is prioritizing my dog’s quality of life, and that meant so much to hear. I am truly grateful to the entire veterinary team, and especially thankful for Jose’s knowledge, compassion and dedication, he has an amazing bedside manner; It’s very clear that he truly cares deeply and makes both pets and their owners feel comfortable.

SIDE NOTE : ( THOSE FRONT DESK GIRLS ARE SUCKS ) they could benefit from more customer service training. Specially a shorty one with black shoulder length hair, she is RUDE!!
