“Dr. Dees and the team at Riverchase are angels on earth. We had a Weimaraner that was the light of our world. The team at Riverchase loved him and cared for him as if he was their own.

Through some surgeries, some ailments, some illnesses, and even in health, the team at this animal hospital were better than I’ve ever experienced.

Especially though his later years and into hospice, Dr. Dees and her team went above and beyond to ensure our boy was able to get the care he needed while limiting his stress and discomfort.

Our sweet Polo crossed over the rainbow on 2/14/26, after 13.5 years of borrowed time, and he wouldn’t have had the life he had without this great team.

You’ve known Polo for a long time and you’ve been nothing but loving, caring, empathetic, and exceptional to our family member. Sometimes, the vet visit means something isn’t going well, but every visit, every check up, we knew he was in the best hands and that you all ACTUALLY cared.

Thank you for your support, your kindness, and your love of Polo. We will miss him so dearly but we know his life was better because he had the best nurses and doctors a doggy could ask for. Thank you.“

“Highland Village Animal Medical Center is the best! We have been bringing our furry babies there for 20+ years. We moved to Denton two years ago and still make the drive to HV because of the outstanding care and love they provide. Everyone there is outstanding, from doctors, to technicians to front desk. And Dr. Lorien Schoelkopf is so very gentle with our 14 year old Schnauzer/Poodle and our 7 year old Australian Cattle dog/American Staffordshire. Love these folks!! “Calamity and Weston just had their annual check-ups, and once again Dr. Eubank and the whole team were absolutely wonderful. They treat my kitties with so much patience, kindness, and genuine care—you can tell they truly love what they do.

Calamity felt like the princess she believes she is, and Weston (my little food-motivated shadow) was completely at ease. Everything was explained clearly, the visit was thorough, and I left feeling confident my babies are in the best hands.

“My 23 year old cat came down blind suddenly, they were very caring, helpful, and worked around his extreme dislike of all things medical to find the cause of his issue and get a treatment plan that is working very well without stressing him out too badly. A couple of weeks later he had to go to an emergency vet for a separate issue, and Cross Timbers are working hand in hand with that vet to transfer his treatment over and get him the help and care that he needs. Fantastic experience with them, I highly recommend their services.“

“We had to bring in our sweet Dexter for an emergency splenectomy due to a ruptured mass. It was such a traumatic day, but everyone from the front desk staff to the vet techs to our surgeon were incredibly kind, patient and helpful. Throughout surgery and the recovery process they were honest and informative, and let us know that we could call or come in any time to check on our boy. I think we interacted with just about everyone on the team over those few days and that level of care was consistent across the board. Update: Our Aussie unfortunately got pancreatitis this holiday season and might have found a potential heart issue during our ER visit. Of course we came to follow up with our regular vet here at Colleyville Animal Clinic. Always great service with the front desk and the vet answers all our questions, especially when we need to make a decision on how to proceed in the future.“
