Cross Timbers Animal Medical Center is a pet care facility that provides compassionate and up-to-date medical care for pets and their owners. The center has an in-house pharmacy, extensive on-site laboratory, radiology, and surgical facilities, allowing clients to get all their pet's medical care in one place. The staff, from the receptionists to the veterinarians and technicians, are described as professional, kind, helpful, and especially gentle with the pets. They use vaccines specifically formulated for cats and give pets treats and playtime during visits to keep them comfortable. The vets provide thorough information, explanations, and suggested solutions for any pet health concerns. Clients feel their pets receive the best possible care at Cross Timbers Animal Medical Center. The veterinarians, such as Dr. Lock and Dr. Galat, have been praised for their wonderful care and for exploring cost-effective options. The staff is also recognized for their gentle and respectful approach, especially during end-of-life services.
My 23 year old cat came down blind suddenly, they were very caring, helpful, and worked around his extreme dislike of all things medical to find the cause of his issue and get a treatment plan that is working very well without stressing him out too badly. A couple of weeks later he had to go to an emergency vet for a separate issue, and Cross Timbers are working hand in hand with that vet to transfer his treatment over and get him the help and care that he needs. Fantastic experience with them, I highly recommend their services.
When our long-time vet was out of town, his office recommended Cross Timbers Animal Medical Center. We were tentative, but decided to give them a try as our little dog appeared to be pretty sick. They got us in the same day, drew blood and sent it to the lab at 4:30 Friday afternoon. They called Monday afternoon with the results and diagnosis! The entire staff was super nice and supportive, very efficient and knowledgeable.
My little Pomeranian, Christopher Columbus, got into something he shouldn’t have, and I wanted him checked out right away. The whole process was so smooth—I was able to set up an appointment quickly and he was seen that very same day.
The staff were absolutely wonderful—so kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring. The quality of care was excellent, especially from Lynn Dumas, DVM, who made me feel confident and reassured throughout the visit.
