Mr. Wilkerson is incredibly nice and friendly! We spent the whole time talking about dogs. I had such a good time talking with him, I actually forgot he was cutting my hair as we were chatting. When I looked up I saw he had given me the best haircut I ever had (my mother even said so)! The sides were blended just right, and the cowlick on the top of my head that always makes my hair part kinda funny wasn't an issue at all. It's been a week since I got my hair cut, and it still parts just like it should. It's not standing up in the back, or growing in funny, or anything. The only word I can think to describe my haircut is perfect. You won't find a better barber in this town!

As a "long haired hippie" who can't grow a full beard to save my life, I have never visited a full service barber shop before. My experience at The Kings Collective may have changed that for good. My barber, Aubrey, was incredible, giving me a trim on my mid-back length hair and then coming through with an amazing beard trim that made me look like a million bucks, even though my "beard" is patchy- at best. She followed that up with a straight razor shave for the back of my neck, complete with hot towel and after shave . Wade, the barber in the next stall over, and the rest of the barbers were all having a great time and the banter and jokes flew all around the room the entire visit. The complementary beer and/or water as you wait really bring the whole experience together, and it was an unforgettable time. I would say my wife might complain about me going to the barber regularly, but at the price, there is no room for complaint, especially when I come home looking as good as I did! Thank you Aubrey, and thank you The Kings Collective for being such a fantastic place to downtown Abilene!

Clem us been cutting hair for many years. He had cut my hair and my boys dating back to 1999. He is an old fashioned barber using shaving cream and razor to trim up. Highly recommend and he is very talkative and is a friendly down to earth barber. Prices are very reasonable and worth the stop and is great with kids.

Atmos called in a plumber to determine where the gas pressure was dropping. It turned out to be Longmire Plumbing, specifically Elesio (May be misspelled). He went above and beyond on many levels- trying everything he could at 9:30 pm to determine if the drop was in the house, his communication was clear, he explained the processes and results as the happened and over all gave service & care as if it were his own home he was servicing. The pricing, I felt, was fair especially for the turn around in getting the heat restored on the two coldest days so far in 2022. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

I needed a plumber last minute after work. Apparently after 4pm in most of town, is "after hours" for plumbers. I am a teacher and do not even get home till after 4. I called several different companies and was just shocked at the price to just get someone out here. Finally came across Walker and the sweetest woman answered the phone and told me she would try and get someone out..and she did! Leo the technician was fantastic and also very knowledgeable. He gave us some great tips about our system and what we can do to avoid this in the future. They charged one flat fee for the call and the work combined. Walker will be my go to from now on.

BOATMAN Construction put a roof on our house after it was damaged by hail. The new roof is absolutely gorgeous. Everything about the experience was positive! It is beyond beautiful, the hi-def architectural style, laminated shingles are gorgeous, the color is awesome and the ridge is PERFECT! 8.5 hours from start to driving out of the driveway. They came back a few weeks later and replaced all of our hail damaged metal roofing too. Again, a beautiful, professional job. Customer service, length of time on our property, clean up and price. Today (25 July) we had to call Ace! Our A/C system wasn't cooling and hadn't been cooling since 8pm the night before! My wife had open heart surgery in 2020 and as a result she's very sensitive to heating and cooling! Needless to say, the house interior temp was 84* and she was miserable!Mr. Zach and his helper arrived around 3pm and went right to work! in minutes he had isolated two causes of our outdoor unit. He informed me of the steps he was taking and didn't rush to complete the task at hand! Having changed out the faulty components and testing the system, he asked before hand, if we wanted to add coolant to the system! Other companies would do it without authorization and charge you! Adding an extra pound of coolant would make the house cooler and also make the wife happy! A Happy Wife is a Happy Home! We added another pound of coolant!Mr.Zach did an outstanding job getting us up and running and cooling! These guys, Ace AirConditioning, are the BEST! Our A/C stopped working around 4:30 pm today and the house was heating up fast. We called Quality Cooling & Heating after calling a couple local companies that did not answer their phone. One company here in town told us it would be 4 days before they could come out. The lady that answered the phone was knowledgeable and very reassuring that someone could be here within 1-2 hours so we breathed a sigh of relief. Mark did an outstanding job on cleaning 2800 sq ft of carpet or tile on 3/25/2022. Worked 5 to 6 hours to get it all done straight through. No lunch. He was on a mission. We were seen today as a walk in for my dog's injury. They were kind, quick, professional, had a clean environment and we will probably switch all services to them. Dr. Ratliff took the time to answer all of my questions and the vet tech(I'm sorry I didn't get your name) was very comforting and caring to my pup. I also appreciate that they take walk-ins on a Saturday morning for things like this.
This is my favorite veterinary clinic in Abilene. They always take super good care of my pets when needed and offer routine vaccinations as well. Now, they are a walk-in (appointment free) clinic.

At first I took my fur baby Lucky in to Judge Ely cause another vet service refused to allow me in with my baby “due to the bs covid” since then the staff at Judge Ely has made my baby a lot better took a little bit of time cause fur babies can’t tell us what is wrong ( unfortunately ) but due to their caring and devotion to keep trying to figure out what is going on and not giving up Lucky is doing a whole lot better. I thought Lucky was dying but the staff at Judge Ely didn’t give up. I will always go to them and highly recommend them.They may be busy as all get out and don’t have time at that moment but if your willing to leave the fur baby they will see them when they get a free moment and will call you with a update. They are great.

Our experience was a sad one but the doctor and staff made it bearable. They were very attentive to all of our needs and kept our beloved Major comfortable. They made sure when we were ready to say our goodbyes that we had out privacy. Major was given the upmost respect.

My cat was at deaths door when I brought in over from the ED. His condition was initially an enigma to the staff but they persevered to figure out what the root cause of the issue was. Over his two week stay the staff were incredibly kind and accomodating. The facilities are incredible and it gave us relief to know he was in safe hands.Thanks to the team! We’ve since been back as my cat seems injury prone and will continue to do so as long we live in the area.

These guys are great. I hated how they hounded me but greatly appreciate they did. I didn't give up. And today I got on my bike smiling knowing what I learned and felt so much more confident in riding. Sure i only have a Super Cub 125cc but with their help, I'm not nervous to get on and go.

I was a bit skeptical at first since this company has not had glowing reviews - but given this is a local, family-owned business I gave them a shot. I met several times at their office to go over my plans and expectations for my project. Mr. Torres met me on several occasions out at the property so there would be clear communication as to what I wanted and where I wanted it. I am building a barndominium and contracted this company to lay the foundation. The framing went up and the concrete poured a few days later (slight delay due to rain). The work came off smoothly and he met my expectations. I am very pleased with the result and would highly recommend Mr. Torres and his company.
