Angela did my hair for a friend's wedding (MoH) - a partial updo. She did a fantastic job, it looked amazing and she's fast! It didn't move yet it looked and felt soft. Definitely recommend.
Marley is my stylist and she does a fantastic job! I have very think hair, dark hair and dye it purple burgundy and I have an undercut. She can do it all, from colour work to being an experienced barber! They even included an undercut or bang trim between services complementary!

What a wonderful experience. Aside from a great haircut, it was so refreshing to experience old fashioned customer service and a great chat. If you love history like I do you won't be disappointed either. The thousands of local business cards pinned to the walls is like a historical catalogue of Charlottetown businesses. Not to mention the vintage 1960s barber chair complete with built in ashtray (not for use of course) but pretty cool. I'll definitely be back.

You need to go see my guy Tully at Kingdom made. He recommended I book the cut w/hot towel and shave. It was insane, you leave feeling like a million bucks.
I was nervous about going to a barber as a queer woman; I wasn’t even sure if women generally went to barbers at all. I reached out beforehand to ask both about that and whether they were queer-friendly. Their response truly blew me away.
Instead of the usual “we accept everyone” line, they shared how intentional they are about creating an inclusive space. All of their staff receive sensitivity training, and they even offer a private room for anyone who may not feel comfortable in the open space.
Every person I’ve interacted with here has been friendly, welcoming, and incredibly skilled at what they do. A huge shout-out to Myah for being an amazing barber, and to Nathan for always being so warm and kind when greeting me. I’ve felt genuinely safe and comfortable here, and that means everything.
Johnny’s been cutting my hair for over the past 5 years I won’t go anywheres else even if the other place was free, with Johnny you don’t just get a great hair cut but a great conversation and amazing service.

Their massage chair for the pedicure, was pure bliss- and yes, I made happy noises that got a chuckle from all the lovely staff.
It was the most relaxing and fabulous experience that I’ve had in a long while.
For me, talking and getting to know all the staff, is completely part of my joy.

; Depending on who does the preparation stage it can be a bit rushed, but more times than not it's quick, easy, and fairly well done. They normally do not touch my cuticles, but I've never asked.
; For the amount of time they spend vs the end result I cannot ask for more. I bring them increasingly complex designs and they meet or exceed my expectations every time.
Top coat / finish: 4/5; I've never had an issue with bubbles in my nail here. I have had the edges turn up once near my nail fold.
; Quite the lively atmosphere and definitely some fun individuals around. The technicians do like to check out and compliment each other's work and it creates for a welcoming atmosphere. They have a wall of colors that you can choose from; don't feel too rushed and don't be afraid to ask for help (I do all the time).
; Fairly clean overall, I have not yet checked the washroom. With the amount of people in their all working with nail products though it can get a bit smelly. Perhaps they need a new air filtration system?
; Every time I schedule an appointment in advance they are ready to take me in less than 10 mins from me arriving. The whole process takes a very reasonable amount of time about 1.5 -> 2 hours with the designs I ask for. Minor issues: they do not have text reminders or notifications. While their systems aren't automated it seems to be mostly working for them. I have had them call me once about a misunderstanding for the appointment date, and while it likely minimally affected their business, it caused me no issues.
Price: 3.5/5; Fair price for the fairly complex designs I get, for usually around $80 with a tip included. (It's significantly cheaper if you don't get a crazy design every time like me)
Overall: 4.5/5; Haven't found anyone who can do my nails better.

Unfortunately the day we went to get the walk in tattoos done, for circumstances out of their control, they were not able to open the shop on Monday. Luckily their amazing artist Andrew was more than willing to come in on his time off and tattoo us. We cannot express our gratitude for Andrew not only coming in, but doing AMAZING and very detailed work! He was so patient with our million questions/stories and a trooper for putting up with us.
