“I can’t say enough about how well my cat, Sophie, was treated. She was very sick when we brought her in, and her emergency stay brought her back to health. She was there for 4 days, and couldn’t have gotten better care. Everyone was so kind from the minute we got there. A veterinarian called every day with an update. The cardiologist called to give us the final results of her tests. Everyone spent as much time with us as we needed, and was extremely kind. When she was being released, there were a lot of instructions, and someone spent an hour going over all the details with us. She even showed us how to order the supplements that Sophie was going to need. We would have been lost without that help. After she came home, I called with a question. I left a message, and someone got right back to me. She even asked me to call back to give an update. When we went back for her follow-up with the cardiologist, he spent as much time as we needed, explaining everything to us & answering all of our questions. Even though we have to drive several hours to get there, this is now the only place we’ll bring our animals for critical or specialty care.“

I usually see Dr. Johnson and she’s thoughtful about my dog’s health and care, and always nice and friendly. “Dr Mason handled my baby, Nugget, with great care. We took him in for possible bloat and had called Poison Control prior to going in. He called them and spoke with them also, got the correct recommendations. He didn’t tell me unnecessary things to do, told me honestly what he would do if it was his pup and I was thankful for that. Even though I am a veterinary technician myself and have been for over 15 years, I was still very worried about my guy but he calmed my and my daughter’s worries. Thank you very much Dr Mason! Nugget is doing much better after having gone to the bathroom multiple times!!! Haha!!“

“If it was possible, she and her staff should get a 50 instead of just five stars ever since my brother Steve was seeing her back in the 80s. I can’t believe I got to get in with my dogs in the 90s and for some reason I had a spits his name was Sam wise gam gees the second was a bichon frise he had a bunch of physical problems, such as seizures, and then later in life, he had cataracts which was taken care of once and then it came back after about five years, he was about 18 when it came back, but Dr Jane and her staff got him to live till he was 22 years old he was very close to being 23 then we had a Jack Russell her name was Xena warrior princess, even with her liver disease and pancreatitis. She made it to 18. We’ve had several dogs since then and just amazing care the new one is bruiser and he’s about five now and he was a rescue literally half border collie half cattle dog. She’s amazing with him even though he’s incredibly shy and nervous around people that he doesn’t know within 15 minutes he was literally wanting to eat out of her hand, so there isn’t much more I can say about her except the love and care that she gives her animals and the ones that are stupid humans ha ha ha she’s probably the best doctor. I’m not gonna say Vet veterinarian doctor that is on the face of the planet thank you.“

“I called them in a panic about my 14 month old puppy. I was told bring her in. I walked in the door, I was instantly instructed where to go, The next desk, took my info and immediately someone came to take my girl to be examined.
It ended up being an allergic reaction to something but the people here were very friendly and quick to help!
I observed one employee being the desk trying desperately to console a woman who’s dog was very sick. Such compassion and empathy!! Well done everyone!!“

“I am so thankful for the wonderful staff and Dr Holmsten. It was a very upsetting time for me to watch my cat of 12 years keep throwing up and lost alot of weight in over the last 3 months. I was told by my previous vet when I called them they couldn't see my cat. So I made 1 call to Animal clinic of Westtown and a very welcoming voice answered and told me to bring my cat in within the hour. I brought my cat in to find she probably has cancer. At which I was talked to about euthanasia. Which I had chose so I didn't have to see her suffer. I will be moving all of my animals from my previous vet to Animal Clinic
of Westtown Village. Definitely the Best staff all the way from the time I walked in the door til the time I left. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND“

There's not a lot of techs and doctors that really hear you and take your knowledge and bond of the animal into consideration. We never feel rushed and no question is ever treated as stupid or dismissed. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The one time my daughter was late, they were concerned and not punitive. She’d tripped over the dog’s leash and fell causing the delay. They offered her some gauze and kind words when she arrived with bloodied hands and knees. We’re almost always on time. Maybe being late to appointments at our old practice was because we were met with such indifferent hostility for not keeping on their 15 min per visit schedule. Valley Vet takes the time necessary to treat your pet not worried with rushing you out the door.“
