Dr. Monroe was so sweet on the phone after explaining my worry about our not dog friendly stress ball doggy coming into the office. They made sure she was alone and no risk of other animals there. Beth was with her most of the visit and was victim to her crazy anxiety and stress. Both Dr. Monroe and Beth were so loving to her and were the epitome of calm and caring. “I absolutely love Newtown Square Veterinary Hospital. The doctors and staff are so nice and accommodating. They all genuinely care about each animal they take care of. They squeeze me in last minute if they can and have a couple evening appointments available during the week which is amazing. My toddler is always my side kick and that's never a problem. One of my dogs even had dental surgery there and they watched over him so closely. I really appreciate them and I am super lucky to have found them. They are text friendly too which is also super helpful if I cant get on phone to talk.“

Dr. Reisner was responsive and had a great website to learn more info about services rendered.The wait times across the country are atrociously long (some had wait times of 6-8 months), so I was excited to hear about just a 6 week wait to have my dog be seen.Once I have our appointment, I will update the review. So far, so good though. ? Excited to get support for my little guy.“

“My 15 year-old cat Harry had slowly been losing weight for several months. My vet here in New Jersey did some blood work which came back normal and told me the weight loss was most likely due to a food preference issue. I tried some different foods and Harry continued to lose weight. My vet ordered an ultrasound of Harry's abdomen and told me he was sure Harry had lymphoma based on the ultrasound results. The only treatment offered was symptomatic treatment with steroids. I wanted a second opioion and options for chemotherapy if Harry indeed had cancer, and found Blue Pearl in Malvern.Because Harry's cancer diagnosis was presumptive and not definitive, I was referred to veterinary internist Dr. Peralta. She ordered extensive bloodwork, a new ultrasound, and eventually a biopsy that did not show lymphoma. Harry is now being treated for an inflammatory bowel process, has gained back over a pound, and is more spry and energetic than he's been in the last couple of years.I can't say enough about the level of care Harry has gotten from Dr. Peralta and the team at Blue Pearl in Malvern. They have been 100% on point with everything to the extent that I was assigned a unique text message number just for communication about Harry. Dr. Peralta has spent more time with me and has been more thorough than any medical provider I've ever had for myself or any animal in my life. Her nurse Alexa responds quickly to any questions or issues I have. Blue Pearl is expensive, but you get what you pay for and if you love your pet like I love my beautiful Harry, the cost is well worth knowing you are getting the absolute best veterinary care available.“

The doctor at Bywood squeezed us in for a quick evaluation so he could go over his records and assume authorization on refills. That's compassion. Everyone at the desk is super nice and my only surprise was when I saw the bill and how reasonable the total was. I did some growling under my breath over the years at other vet bills. Bywood is a great find!“

“The Yelp reviews here are mostly pretty old. I have only been a customer since September 2022 but I have been very satisfied. My puppy was seen here for his first puppy visit because our vet of 30Years was not returning phone calls during covid. He's a wonderful vet but my frustration at not being able to reach anyone at his office was maddening and upsetting. Almost all vets were jammed up and short handed during covid so I forgive him but ignoring my dog's health issues is just not acceptable to me after 30 years . The Banfield vets are organized. You don't get the same vet for each visit but if the 3 we have seen all were nice, attentive, patient with my questions. Our dog was neutered here and they did an excellent job with zero issues. As a side note, I could not get any groomer to return my calls or schedule grooming but I got my dog into the Petsmart groomer and they did a very nice job for a reasonable price. I had been scared to use them in the past due to terrible reviews but things seem to have improved.“
