My 13 yr old maltipoo, Whitman, was attacked by a German shepherd last evening. I called first and was advised to bring him in. Every single person we encountered was patient and caring as I was shaken up. Everything was explained well and there were no surprises. They took great care of him and he’s home now resting. Would definitely recommend to anyone facing a pet emergency. It’s not cheap but like any ER you have to expect that. He was seen at Blue Pearl North, in Pittsburgh.

My 1 & 1/2 yr old pittie pup Apollo accidentally swallowed a toy and it had to be surgically removed. His regular vet office was equipped to perform the surgery but were unable to provide the 24 hr aftercare that was needed for his well being. We were referred to Blue Pearl and I am beyond grateful! The facility is like a hospital for you and I. It was clean. The staff was friendly and compassionate. And the doctors were thorough and took the time to explain everything every step of the way. My dog was diagnosed with a Meningioma and received radiation treatment at this facility to hopefully give her a better chance at living a more comfortable life. She was seen and treated by Dr. Haney, and overall, I’m very thankful and happy with the care provided.
