“Dom came over and tackled a heat pump for a swimming pool that has never worked properly per the previous owner of the house. Dom was very transparent that he has never worked on a swimming pool heat pump before but said he would give his effort at fixing the heat pump. He was not only successful in fixing the heat pump for the pool, his pricing was very reasonable.

Dom also came over a on a Sunday to replace a bad capacitor when the AC in my house died.

I very highly recommend using Dom and will have he returning to PM the rest of my HVAC in the house.“

Edit: Install complete (ahead of schedule) we were going to wait until fall but nobody asked the 25 year old system … ICS jumped through a hoop and was Johnny on the spot.
Two entire days of impeccable attention to detail Ashley in the office. Ben and Chris primary team Louie and TJ assisting. Amazing professionalism and trade craft. These guys did stuff that if they had not I never would have known constantly stretching above and beyond just because that is how they work.
They are simply the best trades experience I have ever experienced or even have heard of - 5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10.

“We use Apgar for our central air and boiler systems and for oil delivery. They are fast, affordable and every service person that has been out has been professional, polite and thorough. Boiler was installed in 1996 and central air unit was installed in 2019. Both by Apgar. The yearly maintenance plan is well worth the cost.“

“My heat randomly stopped working after calling UGI and getting no help I did a google search and they are the only people that answered the phone for an emergency call. They sent a tech Rob out after midnight. He explained everything to me and was able to give me a quote at 1am and was very apologetic that he could not fix it for me right then and there and ensured that the part would be ordered and available in the morning. He gave me in invoice and at 9:00am I got a call from the office asking how was the service call and if I wanted to proceed with the service. They were very quick and very helpful helping me understand what was wrong and the fix for the problem. I will definitely be using them for my furnace servicing again“

“In a world full of frustration and the trend towards poor customer service being the norm, I feel like I need to give praise where praise is due. We've been using DeSousa Oil & Service Corp. for home heating oil for roughly ten years. They may not be the cheapest in the area, but they've always been a good, family-owned and down-to-earth company with real people when you call (which is a big deal for me) and their delivery drivers are conscientious and respectful. A few years ago, we added propane for cooking and a back-up heat source / our fireplace that heats our basement (and it definitely makes a difference in the rest of our home feeling toasty). This year, we also added our camper to our propane use since I use it as my home-office - I never thought to call them to add it though. We're on monthly auto-fill, and I have a reminder on my phone for every Wednesday to check the propane level since we've never really used it for so many things - and with the super cold temps the past few weeks, it's been on overdrive. But, we were out of town at a funeral yesterday when my reminder sounded - so I quickly turned it off, and then forgot to check the propane today when we were home. Soooo, of course, we ran out of propane this evening. To compound the issue, I've also had a terrible migraine that has me down and out today - so, although I smelled the propane and thought it was weird & checked the stove to be safe, I just didn't think fast enough that we could be running low. Until 5:03pm when I realized the house was colder than usual and I couldn't cook dinner - an hour after DeSousa closed. ?‍♀️ I gave them a call anyway, not expecting much (although worrying about the water pipes in the camper). I left a message and hoped maybe they'd call back, but figured we'd be stuck figuring something else out until tomorrow - and ordered dinner out. Within 40 minutes, I got a call from DeSousa that they were calling a driver and would have him come out shortly! Local, family companies are really underrated. I know sometimes we have to make choices to cut our bills and save a penny everywhere we can, but I can guarantee I wouldn't have had this expertise with a lot of other larger companies. Tonight, I'm extra-thankful to be doing business with a company that genuinely cares about how they do business. Thanks, Desousa!“

2 years ago, he fixed my broken heater in the winter,

Fixed a toilet that 2 other plumbers could not. One of them wanted to tear the walls and floors out of my bathroom.

And today he snaked out my main floor drain that had flooded my basement.

He is very knowledgeable , does great work, and his prices are more than reasonable.
