They also communicate on service day as well before they arrive. Additionally, the often discover issues that need attention, like loose gutters, or moss, or minor repairs. Although this might seem like upselling, I really appreciate this service, because I don't like to do high ladder work myself. I do a lot of home renovation myself and the stuff they have recommended I have genuinely needed and their prices are good.“

“I called Flow Roofing and Gutters after one of those long Portland storms when water was pouring over our back steps and I almost slipped taking the dog out.
I figured a couple of seams were loose but I was also scared the roof might be leaking somewhere I could not see.
Getting an appointment was surprisingly easy and the person who answered the phone sounded calm and friendly instead of rushed.
They listened to my whole soggy story without cutting me off.
We set up a visit and they actually showed up right on time.
The estimator walked around the place with me and pointed out where the gutters were pitched wrong.
He took photos on his phone and showed me so I could understand what he was talking about.
I know nothing about roofing so having everything explained in regular words made a big difference.
He laid out a repair option and a full gutter replacement and did not push the bigger job.
The price was not the rock bottom bid I had from another company but it felt fair for the amount of work and the materials they use for our rainy weather.
Once I said yes the office kept me posted by text and email about when the crew would be there.
On the first day the crew pulled up on time in clean trucks and introduced themselves before touching anything.
Everybody was nice but mostly they just got right to work.
They put tarps over the steps and the flower beds so the old metal pieces did not end up everywhere.
When they pulled off one section they found a rotted board and showed it to me before doing anything else.
They gave me a quick number to fix that spot and handled it on the same visit.
The new gutters look simple and neat and they line up well with the rest of the house.
They also fixed the slope so water actually moves toward the downspouts instead of sitting in the middle like a bath.
I liked that they talked through where the water would land so we would not get big sheets of runoff across the front walk anymore.
They were patient with my questions even when I felt like I was asking the same thing more than once.
They even showed me before and after photos so I could see the difference along the roof edge.
There was one small hiccup when the second day start time changed and I did not hear about it until the night before.
It was not the end of the world but I had to shuffle a work call and would have loved that update a little earlier.
Other than that the schedule felt clear and organized.
Clean up at the end was better than I expected.
They walked the driveway and patio and picked up scraps and swept until everything looked normal again.
I kept waiting to find some random screw in the gravel and still have not seen one.
Since the work was done we have already had another heavy rain and there are no more waterfalls over the doorway or puddles under the deck.
Those back steps where I almost wiped out are finally staying dry.
It is a big relief to have a local company show up do the work they promised and finish without me having to chase anyone.
I am usually pretty bad at writing reviews but I wanted to leave this one because picking a roofing company stressed me out more than it should have.
For anyone still shopping around my experience with Flow Roofing and Gutters has been very solid so far.“
