“Black Rock Underground ("BRU") replaced the main sewer line at my house in the summer of 2023.I spoke to 7-8 different companies, got bids from 4. BRU wasn't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive.They were the most comprehensive in their bid, the most communicative about their strategy and gave me the most confidence that their quoted price would be the price when they were finished.Others left lots of room for upcharges and guesswork as to how they planned to run the line (equipment used, disruption to my yard, etc.)I approved their contract and BRU showed up on the hottest day of the year. No joke, it was 102 degrees and the BRU team showed up on time and worked tirelessly for 2 days in the heat. The entire crew was smart, professional, efficient and courteous throughout.I half expected to chase around in front and behind them to clear a path, clean up, talk to the City, and make sure everything went smoothly. I didn't have to do anything. Nothing. The on-site crew instilled confidence in their ability, quality and work ethic.The crew's finished product perfectly lived up to my first impression and expectations. They didn't quibble about the length of time to complete the project, they didn't hit me up for changes/upcharges, they didn't present obstacles. Just got it done, period. Yard was perfect, everything exactly as they found it. I had bought an undercounter filter and just needed them to move the water from behind the fridge thru my filter and then back up to the fridge dispenser. “Pro Drain is my new go-to for drain issues! Over the weekend, we discovered a clogged kitchen sink. Think piles of dishes soaking and no way to clean or run dishwasher.I called Monday morning a few minutes after 8 am, and by 10:05 am, Austin had the drain clear. I joked that I should have him clean every drain. He said that wasn't a good use of my money and he wasn't going to try to up-sale anything. Fantastic honest company.“
