“Brad and his crew from A-1 Concrete Construction just finished up our driveway replacement. They were superb! Brad is a true owner-operator, with a skilled crew that truly minded the details. Brad had excellent suggestions on how we could improve components of our driveway and problem-solved some rather tricky issues with our old-school garage and shin-buster garage doors. He even suggested a slightly different color of dye for our concrete mix and his suggestion was spot on. They worked hard, were efficient and executed the job to near-perfection. “I have positives and negatives, so please read the entire thing. The reason for a 4-star rating is at the end of this review! Otherwise, it would not have been more than 2-stars! My dining room bay window was badly damaged by the hail storm back in May 2024. I contacted Joyce Factory Direct and they replaced the window months ago. The salesman, Mason, was polite and knowledgeable. I hired Joyce Factory Direct. Much of the work was covered by my homeowner's insurance. The crew was professional and the installers were pleasant to work with. I provided bottles of water. They ran into a problem in my sideyard (of which I was unaware). I live in a rural country area and there are a lot of wild animals out here. Deer, possums, raccoons and bears left fleas in the side yard. These poor guys were covered. I provided flea spray. They were very nice about the whole ordeal. I ordered a large bay window and a smaller window. The small window was perfectly installed and finished. The bay window looked amazing...on the EXTERIOR of the house. When the crew was ready to leave I asked when the interior trim would be finished. I was told that was my responsibility! WHAT? I paid over $5,000.00 for that bay window! Seriously? Well, it's been several months (this was done before the storm that damaged so much of Asheville, NC). I called several times and finally got them to send someone back out to finish the interior trim (because I threatened to report them to the BBB). The workman who did the job, VERNON PARKER, was TERRIFIC! He said it is company "policy" that the installers themselves determine if they will do the interior trim. He disagreed with said policy! Putting up wood or PVC trim would have been a nightmare. Instead, this guy planned and designed metal trim and molded it to my bay window. It looks FANTASTIC and blends perfectly with the existing window trim. I cannot even see any seams, it is flawless! So, in the end, they did a great job, but it took me months, and aggravation, to accomplish. BE FOREWARNED!“

With the hellacious condition the basement was in after a sewage back-up Everything looks GREAT & the guys were more than exceptional, talented, friendly & they also listened to my thoughts & requests. The ONLY thing I wasn't real pleased with was that after the job was completed and they packed up & left I noticed A LOT of footprints from the drywall stuff & it had dreied & was somewhat of a pain scrubbing it up(seeing as I only had 1 useable arm at the time after shoulder replacement surgery). Amanda was an excellent manager of the project and walked me through the finished driveway- providing information about how to care for the driveway to keep it in good shape for a long time. “The process with Ohio Buckeye Plumbing was beyond easy. I called Monday morning and by Tuesday afternoon we had a new water heater. They are the BEST! Mike was on time, incredibly professional and kind - worked so hard and left the space better than he found it. The pricing was fair (we got two other quotes). “Steve and his crew redid our en suite bathroom shower for us, down to the studs. Unfortunate that it had to be done in a new home but so glad we decided on this company. Explanations along the way, redoing some of the plumbing that wasn’t expected, great payment schedule, and awesome finishing work. The crew was very respectful, as well, and we had a few laughs along the way. Best part of the project was just clear communication! Getting ahold of the office was very easy and prompt responses back - not something you come across very often. “Chris-tian Construction is the go to company for any roofing issues you may have. We had wind damage in March of this year which my Insurance Company approved a total tear off. Tom Ficus from Chris-tian showed up and walked us thru the whole process and handled everything. From tear off to replacement it was seamless despite the off and on rainy weather.
Their crew worked long hours to complete the job in three days including total cleanup. Rob, the owner came out for final inspection. Unbelievable job!“

“ATI was amazing from the start. As soon as I made the claim on my homeowners' insurance, ATI called me to let me know they would be at my house within 2 hours and they were. I also got phone calls from the project manager who handled the clean-up and damage estimate and the crew as they were on their way to us. The cleanup crew was great! They were professional, courteous and fast. I really can't praise them enough. When reconstruction was able to begin ATI's project manager, Jim, handled everything and made sure to keep me in the loop every step of the way. Jim the PM and the owner of the construction company met with me, and we discussed colors, finishes, timeline etc. The construction crew was awesome though not a part of ATI but handpicked by ATI. ATI's PM, Jim, came by the house at least 3 times a week to make sure everything was going well on schedule and that I was happy and satisfied with the job. Rudy, Jim, everything was fabulous, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you!“

“Directions: I-71 exit 231 (OH-82 WB.) To Prospect Rd (OH-237 NB), turn right. 1/4 mi after RR crossing and stop light, look for the green Kalinich sign in front of the white house. Turn right into the driveway immediately afterwards (swing wide/it's easy to miss). Will be turning into the driveway between the two small white houses. Will see loading docks straight ahead. Will need to do a U-turn or Y-turn to get turned around. They gave me a dock quickly and started loading me right away. When you bump the dock, pull forward an inch or two so they can raise the dock plate.“
