“Doug and his team has been the biggest help in my recovery. Before seeing Doug I saw 5 different physical therapists prior to Doug's training. One who was helpful but the others made my injury worse. Looking back it is clear my issues were due to muscle weakness. 40 physical therapy visits in total over 3 years. I have shoulder, back, hip, and knee injuries. Doug set a conservative program that worked. One particular thing he did was prevent/limit any knees-over-toes exercises. These exercises have become very popular but I had mixed results and tired of the rollercoaster recovery. Most programs have too much going on and are overwheelming. Doug's program has proven results and has many simple exercises you can do at home or most gyms. I requested focus on shoulders first, not completly but preference on shoulders. I felt better after first couple, had clear improvement 4 weeks out and major improvement by end of 26 sessions. I had one physical therapy appointment towards the end of training. therapist dry needle, two tight muscles and instantly i had huge increase in range of motion on both shoulders. I believe Dougs training is what made me strong and respond well to therapist. Doug is very open with his knowledge of physiology and recovery, very easy to talk to, yet focused on the primary aspect of recovery MOVEMENT AND EXERCISE. Doug had me consistantly improve over his training. There have been ups/downs with any recovery. knowing I had someone to pick me up gave me the confidence to push through. Louis is also a very talented trainer. I found his training exteremly helpful. He noticed my lats were extremly tight and got me hitting them in various positions. The lats are what i had dry needled so he was narrowing in on my pain point. They are both very down to earth people and fun to be around. Happy to give input on any questions you have and also won't BS you. If i had pain flare up they quickly modified exercises. Good people who really care about your recovery.”
